UPDATED LINK: https://youtube.com/live/b8rrBpr-3FM?feature=share

Okay, so Riverside pooped on us again. The stream continues here: https://youtube.com/live/0c84WVFjr8Q?feature=share

Patreon won't let us replace the link at the top without deleting the whole post, but our streaming software pooped on us, so please join the updated link (live or to watch afterward). Sorry for the confusion!

Hey friends! Alan finally (somehow) finished the 1st draft of the script! 21 pages of pure... mediocrity? Nah, there's a couple solid bits in there.

But we need a whole movie full of solid bits! So Jonathan and Megan are going to go over draft 1 with a fine-tooth comb, and figure out how to solidify the rest of the bits.

We're leaving the bits metaphor now. It got too gross.

Join us tomorrow to see how the sausage gets made.

Cinema Therapy Studios Supervillain Livestream: 1st Draft Script review

I don't know. We're going to talk about the movie we're making? It might be interesting. Maybe not.

YES!!! I wish I could post gifs in here! Imagine… Rhino the hamster inside his plastic ball screaming, “Let it begin!” Over and over.

SaucyJTD

I can't wait! For bits and all! 🤣

I mean, they did say the Patreon is gross... I love it here 🤣.

They're juicy, they're saucy, they're even a little nutty! But always well-balanced and moooostly in good taste. Exclusive Bits for discerning palates 🤌

Technical difficulties. We'll be on in a moment!

I think what I was trying to say is that it would make sense for her grief to cause her to seem overly flighty/flippant while his causes him to be rigid, and a big source of the conflict is them both needing to recognize that they are both grieving in their own way and that crying is okay. It feels like that is there in spirit, but the acting/dialogue can be sharpened to reflect the complexity of that struggle with letting go while still honoring those we have lost.

I also forgot to mention that there might be space for a half-empty/half-full argument over the urn spilling that devolves into hysterical laughter when they realize that they will argue about literally anything then ends with them cry/laughing together. If you find a way to make the urns look like they are smiling or frowning, I feel like that would be hilarious in a bittersweet kind of way.

CinemaTherapy

Yes! This idea that they're grieving in different ways, and it's causing conflict, is definitely a big part of what we're hoping to convey with their relationship and journey. Thanks for your ideas to help us get there!

It’s kind of hard for me to process information auditorily (if that isn’t obvious from the questions I sometimes ask during livestreams lol) so I wasn’t sure which pieces I was missing due to that and was nervous I was coming off as critical. Thanks for including us, because it is a dream to see your creative processes! ❤️

Paradigm Dad

I just dropped a few comments with ideas in the last link. Sorry I'm a little late to the party. Great stuff though. Love it!
