I went in with medium expectations. The writing wasn’t that good in my opinion. Some of the set pieces were good, I agree. I liked the mosasaur and spinosaurus scene. If I had to rank the franchise, it would be like this. Jurassic Park Jurassic Park 3 (Nostalgia) Jurassic World/The Lost World Camp Cretaceous/Chaos Theory Jurassic World Rebirth Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Dominion

Kids like dinosaurs. Kids will want to see a film about dinosaurs. Kids need to see themselves in films. If you didn’t have kids in film, you’re excluding a major part of your audience. Having women depicted in films doing things other than being a love-interest for men isn’t about checking a box on a “diversity bingo” scorecard. It’s about allowing 50% of your audience to see themselves in your film and to feel connected with it. And it’s that connection that allows certain films to live on in our hearts in ways that others don’t.

On the one hand, I like dinosaurs and a fun film, so I will inevitably end up seeing this. On the other hand, HOW MANY MULTI MILLION DOLLAR DISASTERS DO YOU NEED TO HAVE BEFORE YOU STOP CREATING DINOSAURS???!!!

I liked it, the D-rex was strange, glad it didnt have a lot of screen time. The boyfriend was HILARIOUS but seemingly unnecessary. Overall i liked it :) I also wondered why there are ALWAYS kids, it just makes me so scared for the kids the whole time and i feel like i cant enjoy it as much lol But that little girl was an AMAZING little actress! :) <3

Oh also my husband said the whole t-rex scene where it was asleep, then woken by the raft and started swimming was all in the first book! LOVE that they pulled that from the book!

Saw it yesterday with low expectations going in but was determined to see them all in theaters. My husband had the unfortunate realization that their explanation of dinosaurs unable to live outside the tropics means Blue and her baby/clone would have also died off and I’m not okay with that 😭🤣😭

My favorite part of the movie personally, was after it was finished and I had a good time, I was waiting for my party to finish in the bathroom and a father and son walk by me, the kid is like 7 ish? And he is crying going 'that was the scarest movie I have ever seen' WHICH SOUNDS LIKE I AM A MONSTER BUT LET ME EXPLAIN, I had a flash to being little and watching OG jurassic park and thinking 'this is the scariest movie ever' and it just made me realize how this movie will be their introduction to jurassic park and thrillor terrors and I am honestly okay with that. I can see it being a movie that will be seen more favorably as time goes on and those young kids grow up and talk about movies.
