That's a Wrap: August 2026 (Patreon)

Here's a recap of what we did last month!August was a whirlwind! It feels like ages ago since we went on tour, but we did that at the beginning of the month. If you made it to the PNW or UMW, thank you for coming to a live show! We hope to go back on the road in 2027.

Here's what we posted on YouTube in August. We looked at Disney's Robin Hood, we suffered loooong through The Kissing Booth 2, and we explained why love triangles are stupid. We reacted to Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, The Devil Wears Prada 2, and, thanks to our Patrons, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Which video was your favorite?

Bonus: we did two livestreams! One with THE FELICIA DAY to promote her project, The Guild. And one to launch Cinema Therapy Studio's feature film, The Vessel! 🎉

Here on Patreon, we posted lengthy director's cuts of the videos above, as well as a grab bag about movies we're wrong about, a deep dive about parentification, and many updates about CT Studios!

As for CT Studios, August was awfully busy! In addition to the big, public crowdfunding campaign stuff, we did a lot of quiet, behind-the-scenes work on the show. We reached out to potential cast members, still nothing we can announce, but there should be one exciting announcement coming soon! We also collected props and set decoration, which is getting really fun and creepy! And, as always, we worked on another draft of the script. It's a never-ending process, but so much fun to see the story evolve and improve!

At the end of the month, we did a mini shoot with some guests. Both are YouTubers who are return guests! Guess who!

We're wrapping the crowdfunding campaign the last full week of September, we're starting production meetings, and we begin the long process of cleaning the shoot location (it's been abandoned for years, and needs a LOT of work to make it clean enough to film in). 🧼
