What does it mean to be a leader? Our princess, our general, Leia Organa can teach us a lot about how to be a leader.

Licensed therapist Jonathan Decker, filmmaker Alan Seawright, and guest filmmaker/podcaster Matt Schrader dive into the Star Wars universe to look at leadership skills, role models, relationships, and more. Leia embodies confidence, leading by example, and problem solving. And of course, Carrie Fisher's fabulous performance enhances all of this because she can command the screen even against Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and so many other talented actors.

Growing up, Carrie's Princess Leia was one point of my personal Trinity of badass ladies, balanced by Wonder Woman and Wilma Deering from Buck Rogers. Losing Carrie still hurts in a deep, aching way, and to be honest, I will never forgive JJ Abrams and everyone else involved with the sequel trilogy for pushing her story off so that we didn't get a chance to explore Leia as a Jedi and a mother more.

I know you guys are switching everything over. Missing several videos, please fix that. Love how you nail the irony of 3 white men talking about Leia. (tactful) And Allen, you are a leader despite your own reservations and issues. Stop decrepit humor. I don't know your life story, but you have no problem consistently attacking yourself. You DO (despite your feelings) deserve the praise Jono, (your best friend) gives you. You went out and HAVE been in Hollywood. You made in attempt that some will never do, so recognize that! You acted, didn't just talk. You have every right to feel how you do, just trying to give you perspective. I will be a pain in your ass in the future because you deserve praise (I know you hate it. I have had the same reaction in the past) Just stop being so D....hard on yourself! You forget what you have accomplished. I suspect, you have never given yourself enough credit that you deserve.
