Portugal references - Week 5 (Patreon)
Content
Hi everyone! ☀️
This week we're going to draw Portugal! I am also planning to go there this year, so when I had to pick out all the images, I almost couldn't resist buying a plane ticket right away... It's such a beautiful country, and I can't believe that I never visited it before! 😍
I chose some references that are quite similar in their colour palette, so I think they will come together beautifully in the end. I also love the vibes in these images, so I'm looking forward to drawing all of them!
And as requested by Riya, we're going to draw a cat this week! 🐱
For these images, I think I will mostly use the following brush pens:
Tombow 991 (Light Ocre)
Tombow 451 (Sky Blue)
Tombow 912 (Pale Cherry)
Tombow 126 (Light olive)
Tombow 133 (Chartreuse, Light green)
Ecoline 374 (Pink Beige)
For pencils, I will use:
Faber-Castell 157 (Dark Indigo)
Faber-Castell 165 (Juniper Green)
Faber-Castell 167 (Permanent green olive)
Faber-Castell 168 (Earth Green Yellowish)
Faber-Castell 188 (Sanguine)
Faber-Castell 186 (Terracotta)
Bruynzeel (Light pink)
Stabilo aquacolor 630 (Dark Brown)
Stabilo aquacolor 655 (Lighter Brown)
As usual, feel free to approach the images like you want to! You can choose whatever colour combination you’d like, and which parts of the references you want to draw, there are no rules! That’s the fun of illustration, you can choose what you want to draw and how you want to approach it, the images are just references 😊
If you want to start, but don't know how and what materials to use. You can visit the first blog post about all my favourite go-to materials.
