Hello everyone! 🤗

It's such a beautiful week here in the Netherlands, with lots of sunshine and warm weather! I hope you have the same experience where you live! ☀️

For this tutorial, I chose to draw one of the reference images of this week. Because I really do love to draw houses, and it is such a big subject in my art, I thought it would be a great idea to start our creative practice boost with a video tutorial of one!

So get your art materials right away and draw along! ✨🤗

Materials

For this little Spanish cottage, I chose to use some vibrant colours. For brush pens I used:

Tombow 451 (Sky Blue)

Tombow 912 (Pale Cherry)

Ecoline 381 (Pastel Red), but you can also use the Tombow 772 (Dusty rose)

Tombow 126 (Light olive)

Tombow 133 (Chartreuse, Light green)

Ecoline 374 (Pink Beige)

For coloured pencils I used:

Faber-Castell 157 (Dark Indigo)

Faber-Castell 165 (Juniper Green)

Faber-Castell 168 (Earth Green Yellowish)

Faber-Castell 188 (Sanguine)

Faber-Castell 217 (Middle Cadmium Red)

Faber-Castell 186 (Terracotta)

Bruynzeel (Light pink), for the sketch

Stabilo aquacolor 630 (Dark Brown)

For an overlook of all my favourite materials, I recommend reading this blog post: My go-to materials

If you'd like to, you can share your results in the 'Creative Practice Boost' group chat to show what you created, get feedback, and inspire each other! 🤗 ➡️ Go to the group chat

If you have any questions about my drawing process and techniques, please don't hesitate to ask in the comments or send a message to me or in the group chats! I am more than happy to help with your creative process! 😊

Love, Celyn 🌸
