I stumbled upon these adorable animals on Pinterest, and had to include them in this week's references! A little mouse, deer, and sheep!

Final illustrations week 13

I managed to draw the first two birds of last week's reference. Both were a challenge. The first one because of the flying movement and all the feathers. It was hard not to get lost in details. The second one because of the colour choices. He had some dark feathers, and because I normally don't work with very dark sections, I had to look closer at what kind of colour I should use as a base layer. I ended up using the blue/purple Tombow brush pens, which were a good choice!
