Reference images - Week 20 (Patreon)
Content
Good morning everyone!! ☀️
I am back from my little trip here in the Netherlands! I went to Noord-Holland with my mum for a few days. We had a lovely time together. We went to the beach and walked/cycled through lots of cute villages! I still have one week off from my job as a nurse, so this week I have a lot of time for illustrating, which I'm looking forward to a lot! 🤗
For this week's references, I wanted to draw some whimsical houses again, surrounded with nature! I hope you like to draw references like these as much as I do! 🥰
Final illustrations week 19
This morning I finished the last two references from last week. The olives were part of my Italy spread for the exercise I posted last week: Exercise - filling a sketchbook spread
As you can see I used a limited colour palette for all three references. I only used the following brush pen colours:
Tombow 991 (Light Ocre)
Tombow 912 (Pale Cherry)
Tombow 126 (Light olive)
Ecoline 374 (Pink Beige)
And for the pencils I used:
Faber-Castell 157 (Dark Indigo)
Faber-Castell 165 (Juniper Green)
Faber-Castell 167 (Permanent green olive)
Faber-Castell 188 (Sanguine)
Stabilo aquacolor 630 (Dark Brown)
If you want to start, but don't know how and what materials to use. You can visit the first blog post about all my favourite go-to materials. I also just uploaded a blog post about my watercolour art supplies:
