Final illustrations Norway - Houses (Week 52) (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone!! 🤗
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, and as we like to call it in the Netherlands: Hopefully it was 'Gezellig!' 🥰🥂
It was a busy social week for me! I saw my family, had a pizza night with friends, and had many Christmas dinners with lots of food. I had a fun week, and today it feels like going back to reality while also having a bit of a holiday feeling still, with New Year's Eve coming around. ✨
This year I am going to a fun party in my city with a friend, which I'm looking forward to! It will be a festival-themed glitter party, with lots of areas with music and games. A lot different from other years when I mostly like to have a cozy night at home with friends or family with lots of snacks and watching shows together.
What are your plans for new year's eve? 🥳
Final Illustrations
I had time to draw the first two references last week! For the rough coastline, I created a video tutorial: Video tutorial - Rough Coastline
For the other one, I made some pictures about my process, from sketch to finished illustration.
First I created a sketch to mark the mountains and the place of the house. As you can see it's a rough sketch without too many details.
For the base layer, I filled a big area of the illustration with my olive green Tombow brush pen. For this image, it's a great base layer. Later on, I decided to mark the mountains in the back with my sky blue Tombow brush pen.
Materials
For brush pens, I used:
Tombow 451 (Sky Blue)
Tombow 126 (Light olive)
Ecoline 374 (Pink Beige)
For the pencils, I used:
Faber-Castell 157 (Dark Indigo)
Faber-Castell 165 (Juniper Green)
Faber-Castell 188 (Sanguine)
Faber-Castell 283 (Burnt Siena)
I wish you a lovely day 🤗
Celyn ✨
