I see so many people on Instagram creating vision boards, and it’s so inspiring! You can make one for your personal life, work, or even your hobbies. As you can see, I’ve already created one for my personal life, and I thought it would be a great idea to make one for my creative small business too! 🤩

Creating a vision board can help you turn your dreams and goals into reality. By creating a collage of all your hopes, dreams, and goals, you’re essentially bringing them to life. It’s a fun, creative way to stay motivated and focused on what you truly want for this year!

How to Create Your Vision Board ✨

Step 1: Choose a theme

Decide on the focus of your vision board. Is it more about your creative hobby, or do you want to focus on creating a creative small business?

Step 2: Gather materials

Pick a medium, this can either be physical or digital. For a digital board, I would recommend using Canva and searching for images on Pinterest!

For a physical board, you will need the following materials:

A blank sheet of paper or a corkboard

Magazines, books

Scissors

Glue

Markers, pens, etc.

Step 3: Find your inspiration

Collect images, quotes, and words that represent your goals and dreams. Think about what excites and motivates you. Truly listen to your inner voice and let yourself dream big!

Step 4: Arrange and create your collage

Lay out your images and words before gluing or pinning them in place. Play around with the arrangement until it feels just right. If you’re going digital, experiment with layouts and colours.

Step 5: Display your vision board

Place your finished vision board somewhere you’ll see it daily, like your desk, bedroom, or even as a phone or desktop background. Seeing it often will help keep your goals in your mind.
