Hi everyone!! 🤗

I managed to draw one of last week’s references, the botanical garden reference. When I started this illustration I thought I needed a lot of red tones. But when I looked closely at the reference, I saw that I only needed a red color for the fence and pillars. The rooftop has a more terracotta colour with hints of blue.

I really had a lot of fun with this reference. I added much detail to the building and less to the greenery surrounding it.

Materials ✨

For this reference, I used the following Tombow brush pens:

Tombow 991 (Light Ocre)

Tombow 126 (Light olive)

Tombow 912 (Pale Cherry)

Tombow 133 (Chartreuse, Light green)

Ecoline 374 (Pink Beige)

Tombow 553 (Mist purple)

The Faber-Castell pencils I used were:

Faber-Castell 157 (Dark Indigo)

Faber-Castell 165 (Juniper Green)

Faber-Castell 188 (Sanguine)

Faber-Castell 283 (Burnt Siena)
