Hi!!! 🤗

I had so much fun with drawing these little birds! I also love how these pages come together because of the similar colour palette I used!

For this week's references, you will find my base layers and final illustrations, together with the materials I used below.

Base layers ✨

I used the following Tombow brush pens as a base layer:

Ecoline 374 (Pink Beige)

Tombow 991 (Light Ocre)

Tombow 912 (Pale Cherry)

Tombow 553 (Mist purple)

Tombow 451 (Sky Blue)

For both illustrations, I created a rough base layer. I also made a sketch before adding the first layer. This because it's very important to get the proportions and perspectives right. It helps creating a sketch first. I used my dark indigo pencil and erased it a bit with a kneadable eraser after I finished it.

Final illustrations ✨

For the second layer, I used the following Faber-Castell pencils:

Faber-Castell 157 (Dark Indigo)

Faber-Castell 188 (Sanguine)

Faber-Castell 283 (Burnt Siena)

I wish you all lots of fun with these references, and don't hesitate to show your illustrations in the group chat🤗

Celyn 🌸
