Hi!! πŸ€—

For this week I chose some marsh landscapes! You will find my tips, base layers and final illustrations, together with the materials I used, down below. πŸ€—πŸ₯°

To simplify your illustrations, I have a few tips:

Don't start with a sketch, start with the base layer right away

Place your reference image further away or make the picture on your phone/iPad/computer a lot smaller, so you won't get lost in all the details

Really pay attention to the basic shapes in the illustration

Marshland

I used the following Tombow brush pens as a base layer:

Ecoline 374 (Pink Beige)

Tombow 912 (Pale Cherry)

Tombow 126 (Light olive)

Tombow 133 (Chartreuse, Light green)

Tombow 991 (Light Ocre)

Don't be too precise when drawing the green parts. It's important the main shapes are recognizable.

For the second layer, I used the following Faber-Castell Pencils:

Faber-Castell 278 (Chrome Oxide Green)

Faber-Castell 283 (Burnt Siena)

Faber-Castell 188 (Sanguine)
