Hi everyone!! π€
This month's theme is about Whimsical Landscapes! Last week I posted a poll which reference you would like me to draw this week for our video tutorial. It was a close call but the cottage garden won this time! π₯°
Note: Because I have such busy weeks preparing for my coliving experience (which start in less than 2 weeks) I didn't have enough time this week to add subtitles. So this is just a draw along video and you can read about the colors I'm using down below.
In this tutorial you can draw along with me while I draw this illustration:
You can download the reference image and read about the materials I used down below!
Materials β¨
For this illustration, I used the following colours for the base layer:
Tombow 126 (Light olive)
Tombow 553 (Mist purple)
Tombow 772 (Dusty rose)
Tombow 991 (Light Ocre)
The Faber-Castell pencils I used:
Faber-Castell 157 (Dark Indigo)
Faber-Castell 279 (Chrome Oxide Green)
Faber-Castell 188 (Sanguine)
Faber-Castell 283 (Burnt Siena)
Faber-Castell 217 (Middle Cadmium Red)
Faber-Castell 226 (Alizarin Crimson)
In this tutorial I switch very fast between the different colours, so look closely which colours I'm using :)
