As I mentioned in my Welcome to April post, this month I will be showing you how I draw little homes step by step!

For this week, we’re focusing on adding details & character. Instead of sharing multiple references, I chose one main reference so we can really take the time to study the smaller elements.

We’ll start by looking closely at the individual details, like plants, windows, roof textures, and small surroundings, and practice drawing those first. After that, we’ll use these elements to build a full illustration inspired by the main image 🥰

This approach helps break things down into smaller, manageable steps and makes it easier to add personality to your own little homes.
