As I mentioned in my Welcome to April post, this month I will be showing you how I draw little homes step by step!

For this week, we’re focusing on how a specific color choice can make your house illustrations stand out. I love adding red to my drawings. It brings warmth and instantly draws attention to the house ❤️

I chose two examples for this: one with a red rooftop and one where the entire house is red. It was so much fun to explore this again, since I haven’t used red as often lately!
