Hi everyone!! 🤗

Time for Sketchbook Prompts - Part 4! These prompts are perfect for filling pages in your sketchbook, experimenting with your technique, and, most importantly, having fun with while losing perfectionism.

Here are 3 new exercises/ideas you can try! 🤩

🎨 Memory Walk

Go outside and go on a little walk. Observe your surroundings, like little flowers, pretty trees, tiny nature scenes. Don't make pictures, try to keep your observations in your mind.

When you come home, get your sketchbook and try to draw the things you can remember. It's not about making a perfect drawing, but to learn how to observe your subjects. 😊

🎨 Nature Alphabet

Choose one letter of the alphabet and fill a page with nature objects that start with that letter. You can search for references on Pinterest or google, and you can of course if that's easier, use your own language to find subjects 😊

For example:

F = Fern, Feather, Frog, Flower

A = Apple blossom, Anemone, Acorn

🎨 Fill a sketchbook page with your favorite flower

Choose your favorite flower and fill an entire sketchbook page with it. Draw it from different angles, in different sizes, or zoom in on the little details. You can keep your sketches simple or add color if you'd like. It's just about practicing.

Sharing

As always, I’d love to see your results! Post your sketches in our group chat or in the comments below. I can’t wait to see what you create! 🤗

Happy drawing!

Celyn 🌸
