A Patreon memberships update ✨ (Patreon)

I want to share a little update about some changes I'm going to make to the membership tiers starting November 1st. You can read all about why and what this means for your membership in this post!

Over the past months, I've realized that keeping up with four different tiers and all the different types of content has been taking quite a lot of time and energy. As you may know I started working as a nurse alongside my illustration work since July again, so that means I have to do all my illustration work in 3 days instead of 5.

I absolutely love creating content for you all, and I want the content I post to be quality over quantity. At the same time, I also want to create more space for other creative and business projects that I'm working on.

So I've decided to change my Patreon from four tiers to three tiers ✨

The goal is to create a simpler and more sustainable structure that I can continue to enjoy creating for, with more attention and enthusiasm again. 🥰

🌿 1. The new Patreon structure

From November 1st we will have a new membership structure, which will include these three tiers.

Good to know: For the Creative Practice Boost Plus members, the worksheet will still be included in next month's content!

Tier 1 - Get Inspired (€5/month)For gentle weekly inspiration, reference images, drawing process posts and access to the Patreon community.

Tier 2 - Creative Practice Boost (€9/month)For everyone who wants to learn more about my drawing process through two monthly video tutorials, alongside the regular Patreon content.

Tier 3 - Creative Practice Boost Plus (€12/month)For those who want even more guidance, including two monthly video tutorials plus one monthly Voice-Over tutorial and Creative Prompts ✨

✨ 2. An explanation per tier

Tier 1 - Get Inspired (€5/month)

In the image below you can see the changes I will make in this tier. For the Get Inspired tier that means that there won't be too many changes, only that the blog-posts will be occasional. Instead of committing to one blog post every month, I'll share blog posts whenever I have something useful or interesting to share. This could mean two blog posts in one month, or no blog post in another month. 😊

Tier 2 - Creative Practice-Tutorials (€9/month)

In the image below you can see the changes I will make in this tier. For this tier there won't be that many changes as well. Only the Blog-Posts will be Occasional as well and the video tutorials have a new name: Draw Along Video Tutorials. This means that I will focus on creating tutorials where you will have an easy and cozy draw along experience while getting some tips through subtitles. 🥰

Tier 3 & 4: Creative Practice Boost & Creative Practice Boost Plus

These two tiers will have the most changes as you can see in the image below. The new tier will simply be called Creative Practice Boost. This means that the current €12 Creative Practice Boost tier and the current €15 Creative Practice Boost Plus tier will become one single €12 tier. I made this change because I wanted to create fewer different kinds of content. That means that the monthly printable worksheet will no longer be part of the regular content I share.

The combined tier will just be called: Creative Practice Boost. In this tier you will find all the content described in the other two tiers, plus:

Creative Prompts every month (or a blog-post): These will include, art and drawing exercises, prompts, sketching ideas, etc.

1 Monthly Voice-Over video tutorial: A more in depth tutorial where I talk you through te process of creating an illustration 🥰.

💛 If you're currently a €15 Creative Practice Boost Plus member

If you're currently a member of the €15 Creative Practice Boost Plus tier, your membership will become part of the €12/month Creative Practice Boost tier.

The main change is that the monthly printable worksheet will no longer be part of the regular membership content. However, you'll still receive:

✨ 2 monthly Draw Along Video Tutorials

✨ 1 monthly Voice-Over Video Tutorial

✨ Monthly Creative Prompts or a blog post

✨ All the regular Patreon content included in the other tiers

And don't worry, you don't need to do anything yourself! I'll take care of the changes behind the scenes. 😊

There will be a small transition period in October:

From October 1st, the price of the Creative Practice Boost Plus tier will change from €15 to €12/month. Patreon has a 31-day price lock for existing members, so your current €15 price may remain in place during this period. After the price lock ends, your membership will be charged at the new €12/month price.

You will still receive the October worksheet as part of your current Creative Practice Boost Plus membership. 💛

From November 1st, the new three-tier structure will officially go into effect.

The current €15 tier will be removed from the membership overview, so it won't be available to new members anymore. Your membership will continue, and you will automatically be part of the new €12 Creative Practice Boost tier.

You don't need to change or cancel anything yourself.
