Yay, ramble! Glad to have ya back, G ☺️ glad you got some rest. Not taking a break can really burn you out.

Anonymous

I’ve been hesitant about watching Tiger King for the trend reasons myself. Welcome back, and glad you could get a break for yourself!

I appreciate you not being too "sugar coaty" 😂 Lol it's nice for you to come back with a ramble, I really enjoyed this. Missed you lots, glad you took care of yourself. And we're looking forward to what you come out with!

Anonymous

Grateful you had time to rest and recharge. That creative spark needs to be nurtured and tended to. Well done, lad. 🤗💓

Katarína Vraňáková

Motivation in art work IS really slipery thing indeed 🤣 I always get frustrated when I'm trying to write and I'm just sitting there like... Hmmm what a nice piece od paper I got here.... You are doing amazing Job here darlin really :D 🖤 so take breakes when you need it, so you work with love and good energy. Thank you for sharing All this stuff 🙏🌹

Anonymous

Constantly terrified because I'm immunocompromised and I live with my ex who works in a supermarket stacking shelves so there's the fear that he could catch it at any time. But these little rambles help keep sane and brighten the day. I'm very glad you took a break and looked after yourself x

Laura Gahan

Please don’t feel bad about taking time to recharge it’s important to mind yourself

Anonymous

Yay, welcome back!😍🤗❤ I'm so glad that you took some time to relax, and that your rest was fruitful. It's great to hear that your Mom is doing well, too! That story was sweet, in more ways than one, haha!🍫🍫🍫😄 It's always such a pleasure to hear what you're up to. Love you, G.❤ Muah!😙❤❤

Anonymous

Welcome back! Quick, non-sugarcoaty question: What is the perfect temperature for willy-spanking? Asking for science, like. 🤓

Anonymous

Welcome back friend. We missed you. 😊 I’m glad you are that much of a perfectionist that you know to take a step back when you don’t feel like you’re putting out your best audios. Quality over quantity.

Anonymous

We always got your back! 😉 Thank you for all you do and I really understand being tired and needing a break from it all. Please always stay safe and healthy G, and all of the Lovelies! We got this!! 💪

Kamilah Lindsey

Gael 😍 welcome back sweetheart 🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️

Anonymous

You are such a sweetheart, Gael. Your positivity helps me view the world in a kinder light. I'm really happy you were able to recharge your battery a bit and take some time to care for yourself.

Anonymous

Hey Luv! 💞🤗🤗 I'm happy, so happy to hear you had a good break! *big squuez hug noizes* The end of this ramble...I'm not crying, you are! 😭😭💞💞💞 I'm happy to help you and support you in everything I can. You bring light into my days in amounts I can't even bring into words. 💞 Just remember that we are here for you when you're recording, when you're on a break, when you need a breather..We're here for you lovey 💞🤗 It's true though, it's amazing what people can do when they really put effort in. Here there's food delivery for a small fee, neighbours helping each other to go to the grocery store, free online gym classes and lots of other things. Like knitting those heart socks for our health care people. 💞 Hope everything went well with your mom? 💞💞Mine's a character too, she's climing the walls already because she's 70, so I'm doing her grocery shopping too and she can't go anywhere herself, except for walks 😅😅But it's almost cottage season, our's is about 1,5 km away, so we'll get there by bikes. 😊😊 When this quarantine is over, we just need to hold our heads high up and work hard to get everything sorted, our grandparents and great grandparents did it too, we can do it! 💞💞 Welcome back honey! 💞💞💞🤗😚

Anonymous

Glad you worked through it all and are back in action! 💗😘🤗

Anonymous

Glad to hear from you G, and I'm happy you're doing better and that your family is safe. 🧡 I hope you never feel like you have to have an excuse for taking a break. We all need that from time to time! 🤗 LOL when you mentioned there being oddballs out there I instantly thought about us here in Sweden... but I agree with you that most people are really being so good about this. So much solidarity and just everyday heroism. Wish we could see more of that in the news too! Love ya G. Biggest internet huggos to you! 🌺

Anonymous

It’s 4am and I’m in tears. That was so raw. So beautiful. We get up every day to try to help the most vulnerable, to try to make sure they are not lost in all this, when every day it just gets harder to deliver the care people need. So we go back and try to find new ways of doing things and supporting people while not knowing if it will all change again tomorrow. Your thank you, reached around the world and squeezed my heart. I can do it again today ❤️ Hope your mam is doing well too 😊 PS sounds like a pretty busy break but so good to have you back.

Anonymous

Welcome back! You should take breaks when you feel like you need it. We all need time away sometimes. It was nice to see being vulnerable. I just want to give you a hug! 🤗 Glad you and your family is doing okay!

Anonymous

Welcome back! Glad your feeling better and you got some rest. Looking forward to hearing the new stuff ❤️

<i>"Sugar coaty...is that a word? 'Sugar coaty'? It is now."</i> 😆😝 Good to have you back, Gael 💖

LadyMoonwolf

Just love hearing your well sweets. Thank you for holding me up through these chaotic time, and make me feel worthy of such love. You don't know this but I had knee replacement surgery, everyone said I was way to young, now it's not healing properly. Sorry for carrying on, Much love.

Anonymous

Gael, somehow you have become one of my favorite people in this world and I've never even met ya :) Bless you and your loved ones. Also, anyone reading this, bless you too 💕

Eryn

I'm a huge Van Gogh fan! If you need any book references, I can name a few! The 2010 documentary "Van Gogh: Painted with Words" staring Benedict Cumberbatch is also really good!

Anonymous

Welcome back! Glad to hear you’re safe &amp; healthy, all is well in your world, your Mum is doing good &amp; your break was restful ❤️ 🙂

Anonymous

I could listen to you ramble all day. Sometimes I do. I just pull up the ramble tag and let it go. I totally understand the reason for your break. As a graphic designer, I often take mental/creative breaks as a kind of reset to get fresh ideas flowing again😊💚

Anonymous

Good morning. I’m glad you’re doing well. I’m excited to hear what you have coming up. You’re so positive and it just blows my mind. Cause being an essential worker and being in the US this corona virus has only shown me how messed up and screwed we were. No infrastructure. And millions of people who are apathetic.

Laura

Thank you for this. I just adore you. Love the story of your sweet mama and her stockpile of chocolates from the doctors 😂❤️

Anonymous

Just had a listen and you're such a wonderful man Gael. You worry about us and ppl too much than your own self. And that's the trait and quality of a true hero, a real man who worries about his own ppl and who becomes their shield 🛡.. I got a bit emotional there as well when you got emotional and wished to give you a real hug. You know those hugs that you collect someone in into your embrace, wrap your arms around, squeeze very tight and just keep them there for as long as you can? That one! Off topic and I know I'm weird.. I know I am 🤣🤣 but thanks for clapping as you just gave the game away with them spanking sounds 🤣🤣 clap spank 👏🍑👏🍑👏🍑😜😜 And we clap back at-cha for all you do luv 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Take it easy. Always take breaks, you deserve it. Stay healthy and safe physically and mentally. And like you worry about us, we worry about you and we want you in good health luv, always.. ❤❤ All the best to you and we love ye to bits😘😘❤❤

Anonymous

It's all good, everyone is allowed a break, especially in these times 🤗 I will always support artists where I can. I work in the music industry, which is taking a helluva beating right now, yet despite that, I've had at least a 600% increase in my workload since all this began (I'm not exaggerating, with everyone home, everyone's getting their ducks in rows and want it done yesterday, *when they should've done it before*), so I'm very fortunate, and will always pay forwards when I can for content I love - because I know what artists like you have to do. Besides, we'll be around as best as we can too 😁

Anonymous

I could listen to you talk for hours 💜 glad you’re back 😊

Aimee Garner

No, I completely understand. I'm currently in school and I'm so burnt out now from the school work, I can't come up with ideas to use for my research papers. The online social distancing thing isn't helping. It takes forever to get through to a teacher and when you do you can't remember the mindset you were in when you were writing.

Anonymous

I feel better emotionally from this break than I have in years. It's going to be rough going back to work but I hope I keep doing the things that have been making me happy rather than ignoring them because I was in this loop of work, eat, sleep with nothing in the middle of it. I am almost happy I got sick and my gas station job forced me to take leave, because otherwise I wouldn't have done it and I wouldn't be feeling as amazing as I do right now emotionally and mentally. My body will heal with time, but I am so glad I have the time to let my mind heal finally.

Anonymous

"G" Thank you for this lovely talk. I could listen to you talk for days, sometime you ramble for a coupe of days at a time, at my house You sound refreshed now rest and turn that beautiful brain off, until tomorrow! Stay safe Multi-tasking Audio Legend!

Anonymous

G , I thoroughly enjoyed this talk. I especially enjoyed the story about your mother. When I would take my Mother to her Doctor appointments it was like WWII. I really that even her Doctor enjoyed the visit. He would enter the room tired but he would leave energized. They would start insulting and making jokes about each other. I felt like I needed a referee's shirt .

Kathy Mc

So glad to hear your voice and know you are well. Your positive spirit gives me strength everyday. Take all the breaks you need. We will always be here for you. Love you to bits!!!😘😘😘😘💋💋🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

Rain Archer (Rhiannon)

OMG --- ARGH! *HEADDESK* IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET 20 MINS ALONE TO LISTEN TO THIS BUT THE WORLD KEEPS INTR-FUCKING-RUPTING. *having a tiny temper tantrum*.... hoooonnneeesssttlllllllyyyyy.... Im also trying to work on my Twitch, channel here, fukers, do you know how mind numbing it is watching my own game play, trying to remember why i saved the clip for? then be willing to have an entire community laugh at me call me trash while i catch up of two years of missed content... its one of those games if you miss parts is super difficult to get back from it, and im resorted to make a fool out of myself because working freelance left me with nothing, all the jobs i worked in exchange for a reference as proof of work, they don't reply or say "I'm uncomfortable" so because im disabled (still pushing for Rhiannon's Syndrome, the doctors ARE NOT stealing this from me, make them god damn famous and admired - its already happening from the surgery that saved my arm, i was shown off like a fucking rare fish in a tank - while I suffer and rot. Fuckers.), so yeah, no help, unable to get work, unwilling to go back to work with people who won't pay me or respect my boundaries, so I gotta go give female gamers everywhere a bad name... honestly tho, how the honest fuck did I get as far as I did? because watching these videos i cant aim and hit the broad side of a barn... this was a long comment... eh, most of you guys won't read it *shrug* Welcome back though, I'm a very big advocate for taking personal time and it comes from knowing what happens in a burn out, yeah, enjoying covid, but miss sining in my car (its actually catawaling ing my car), thats the thing about my mental health i need, a very big outlet for me. I DO desperately, need to walk up n down the 1km driveway and with the music. Haha, yeah you never stop, I totally understand more than you'd give me credit for, and yeah without that connection to whatever you're doing it shows when its not there. Conversation for another day, my story is a warning because I've never and don't know if i'll get back from it, regardless how much and how hard i fight for it... I lost my life to youtube lol. A girl lost her hand? hectic, i might actually watch it, I don't watch stuff when it popular lol always years behind. (yeah you can tell im listening and replying at the same time lol sorry) Calling you in - i was expecting that to end up bad lol but chocolate yeah niece. Lions den for hospitals, yeah i get that, monthly treatments at a covid outbreak and clinic hotspots, and im immunocompromised i get this i die, so every for weeks i literally play Russian roulette with my life. But yeah, there are extremists and idiots everywhere, and like every war and pandemic before us we healed and rebuilt before and we will again. Do not get me started about governments, people will honestly tape my mouth and hands down when i get started, I will have to share one of the controversial videos on the communist section -sorry for taking over with rains radio.. but its helpful for me but I will stop if anyone complains. im really hoping that the world can continue to unite and make some of these changes permanent that helps both the people and the planet, and everything, im aware the opposite is true but im always a optimist even though the other part of me is a pessimist wearing a tin foil hat but, i know the realities of the world so i don't even allow myself to take hope away from myself, even though hope its self if it had a body and a character its a demonic scary thing - but yeah lets not delve to into the huge amount Ive done on the workings of the self as an identity........ *reads over this* why am i even allowed to write someone ban me for buggery sakes.

Betsy ♍

This ramble is another sweet surprise😁 G, you are like fresh air and clean water. I'm glad you're feeling better💚it's good that you need to feel connected to your work, that you still have passion. I think it's important that you get as much pleasure creating audios as we do listening to them. That makes your work more effective, meaningful and more fun to hear. You never want to feel like you are only phoning it in, (we can tell😂) ❤Those individuals on the front lines, keeping us safe, providing essentials and anyone lifting spirits are my heros right about now.

Anonymous

Welcome back, friend. 🌷 It’s good to hear your voice. Glad to hear you and yours are safe and snug.

Stephanie Drage

Hi Gael!! So wonderful to hear your voice. I'm so glad that you are feeling better. Also that your mum is ok. I had to have a "day off" yesterday because last week was horrid. What could go wrong did go wrong, Gah!!!! But my little family got through it. I swear Australia's goverment has too much stupid in it. Oh well, nothing I can do........yet. You are right in regard how that, during this time of lockdown (or whatever) we have come together. I can't help but be humbled by the essential workers with everything they do. I can't help but be proud of my neighbours and how we are looking after the elderly in our street. Even the kids are doing their part and play in the street on bikes and such. My town is small and isolated. We are lucky to have no confirmed cases of Covid-19. Typical Aussy country town we banned together and did our part. It's been amazing. You're right, it is so hard just to not sit around and do nothing. I take my 2 stir-crazy monsters for a walk most afternoons. But they are bored with that too. So I've shaken things up with games etc. But its hard. Single parent, isolation, bored 3yo and 10yo. I need reinforcements!!!!!! I'm not the only one in this. We'll get through it and come out better and stronger. Take it easy mate. ❤❤😊😊

as an Australian myself, yes and ive said it here before that we are children. Glad your town hasn't got any cases, hope it stays that way. Keep safe ^_^

Do you keep the stories you write? Do you have notebooks full? I am glad your mother's doctor appointment went well.

Heheheh, I didn't even realise that clapping thingy in the middle of all my feels! 😅😅😂😘

Anonymous

Let me tell something funny: the clapping part from your ramble reminded me of all those TikTok and YouTube videos I was watching a month ago. People cheering up our hero frontline workers (respect) 🙌 ....so two days ago I thought to do the same from my room and started to clap and sing Warwick Avenue by Duffy. .....few minutes later a nurse came and kindly asked me not to sing. It wasn’t her she said, but a very not amused patient from another room asking. He even sent me a note. He found my voice horrible and very boring. I was hurting his ears☠️ What made me laugh hard was that the nurse looked as if she had to 💯 the same opinion 😭😂😂 Now seriously G. your audio cheered me up a lot. It was nice to hear your voice again and yes taking breaks from social media is always a good idea. I wish you health and happiness. Keep safe Irish lover!😘 p.s the part with your Mama 😍 how adorable!

Ya it can be frustrating lol. It’s like it’s right in front of you but far away at the same time, it has a mind of its own! Ty Katarina 🤗

Gaelforce

It’s really worrying I know. We will get through it though, we be much stronk like :D Xd

Gaelforce

Ummm, I like below room temperature, well below lol. I’ve warm blood Willy agrees with my sentiment 😂

Gaelforce

Awww TY! You are a heroine. Never lose sight of that. I have a lickle something for essential workers coming up 🤗🤗

Gaelforce
>>35500717

Oooohh that can be tough but you are young and the body is amazing! Trust me, I’ve been banjaxed a few times hehe Time and plenty of the exercises recommended Xd

Gaelforce
>>35502252

Ohhh ty Eryn. I’ll check that out today I was curious about his health problems and I began to suspect there was something going on, something that was exasperating his mental health problems. So I found work by a psychologist that suggested Vincent had a slight brain issue that was made worse by absinthe, which a lot of poets and artists consumed. He suggests that it wasn’t that Vincent was an addict rather he was allergic to it in a sense, so when he drank to shut his mind off the absinthe would reek havoc in his body. He was mentally ill but that poison really punished him more than imaginable Poor man. ☘️☘️☘️

>>35504473

Big hugs to you Eliza, the more empathetic people amongst us are fully aware of your heroism! You gals and guys are warriors and when this is over you should always remind yourself of the role you played, of your life choices and how every choice you made lead to this, to you being a wonderful, brave and selfless person ☘️☘️☘️

Thank you Florence! Yup! I know a few musicians who earn their living doing gigs and giving lessons, it’s such a tough time. I mean, who could see this coming? I’m happy you’re okay! And thank you again 🤗🤗

Gaelforce
>>35508166

It is a tough time for students, the isolation and the trying to seek help when everyone is locked down is frustrating. Hopefully it will be over soon🤗

Gaelforce
>>35508632

That’s another side of it isn’t it? Like, some people are reconnecting with family, life, exercise, better food etc. Lots are waking up to how we kinda go through life like robots sometimes There are a lot of lessons here and I think we will all be much stronger in the end. Keep strong Ariel 🤗

Gaelforce
>>35513566

Hehehe! I say the doctors really do appreciate a character every now and again My mom has a foul tongue too and cuss words come out in uniquely poetic ways Lmao Xd Ty Justine

Hi Kristi I have a notebook but mostly I wrote on my lappie I want to write short stories some day as I have soooooo much to tell, such fun stuff. The thing is taking the time to spark it, reconnecting with friends I live a distance from nowadays, but I’ll get there. I have some funny stuff around Irish weddings and funerals still, some stuff around school and school plays. I have had a very comical life so I have lots to draw from! Stay tuned Kristi 🤗

It was a pleasure to watch your thoughtful replies 🌺 and rounded out with a laugh!! You made my night thank you 🤗

Cat

Welcome back 😘 Glad you're feeling relaxed and rejuvinated 💪Talking about having some personal time...a cute lickle story from weekend. Saturday was my niece's 2nd birthday. We took a drive to see her (from a distance, I KNOW, naughty me. Slap my wrist!) We were all outside my sister's house and then we're like "Where is she?!" (my niece couldn't have got far) My sister wanders off and finds my niece back inside the house. Seeing a few family members was too much for her: she'd gone back inside, sat on the sofa and was just happily watching tv in there on her own! The girl knows what she wants! Anyway, i hope the Irish weather's treating you better this week. If not, there's plenty of English sunshine i'm willing to share with ya 😎 Take care 😊

Rain Archer (Rhiannon)

i'm with lou, there are a few patterns im signed up for, for more money that don't even give a fraction of extra and just your time alone to us. Its why I like it here so much, and how i over ran the community section just saying lol listen id start my own if i thought i had anything of value than bad jokes ohhh... Gael, what's doesn't a circle and a broken pencil have in common..... they are both pointless... hahahah ok i'll sit on my hands now and shut up...

Anonymous

Good to hear you again G. You do sound a bit rested. I like to call those non-sick days off metal health days cause that’s what they’re for. Glad to hear that Irish lilt once again. lá álainn a bheith agat. (Hope that’s right). ☺️

Anonymous

I’m so glad you’re feeling better G! You’ve been such a bright light for us. Between work, a presumptive COVID positive son, and my own cough, the bright spot in this weekend was hearing you’re better. Hearing your voice is like a nice warm bear hug. Your clapping for the essentials was appreciated. My healthy son has been working at the pharmacy nearly every day. He’s more fearful of bringing something home to us than himself. On my end, I’m just trying to keep my doctors and nurses credentialed so they can keep working. The stories they tell us on our weekly calls are astounding. You always thank us for supporting you, but seriously, thank you for supporting us. You’ve been a slice of sanity for us. 😘

Anonymous

There’s not much more I can add to all that’s been said! You’ve been a tremendous source of support for me, as have our lovely Lovelies. It’s beautiful how we take care of each other, and bring brightness to each other’s days. Gzus, you are loved, appreciated, and needed, but never at the expense of your own wellbeing. K? Glad you’re back, friend 😊

Anonymous

So glad to hear you’re doing better and took a much needed break. Hope the days ahead treat you well! 😊

It’s currently 10:30 pm in my neck of the words, so I’m officially calling it...<br><br>...Seanie seems to have missed 4/20 🚬🤭<br><br>Has he decided to turn over a new leaf and stop smoking weed? 🤞🤓 Or did he just get so baked out of his mind that all he could do was lie in the attic with the hyena, listening to Foghat’s "Slow Ride" on repeat all day? 🤔

Anonymous

Late to this, but welcome back again Gael! So glad that you got the chance to take your well deserved break~! 🤗 I first saw your upload for this ramble when it was like 4am here in Malaysia, and I just happen to wake up so I gave it a listen, but I lost you half way in cause I have accidentally fallen back to sleep. Yesterday, I tried listening to it again before sleeping, and it was such a wonderful thing! Thank you for all the updates, and as usual your warm voice have allowed me to go into a very deep sleep. Work has been hectic and Malaysia is currently on a lockdown. Recently our government has allowed those who work with children with Autism to provide therapy so it was wonderful to see our kiddos again! 😍 Anyways, hope to hear from you very soon, and looking forward to the recordings 😎 Love, Chen 💕

Anonymous

Thank you so much for the update, darling Gael. We appreciate you so much for your love and care. So glad to hear that you were able to switch off for a little bit and look after yourself 🥰 It can be so hard when your career/work and whatever “the rest of your life” involves has basically no separation - I feel with this COVID-19 isolation situation that I’m even less separated from my work, since I’ve literally brought the office home with me - been feeling like I’m constantly on call, even though I only get paid for 20 hours a week! And that’s just my “day job” - the rest of my work is as a freelance musician (cellist, singer, composer) ... no work/life balance there... although I’ve lost basically all of that work for the foreseeable future 😞 There have been times in my life where I’ve been fully freelance (which is bloody hard enough without a global pandemic cancelling all your work!), and I am incredibly grateful that I’ve got other sources of income to get by. Anyway - when life, work, and passion are so intertwined, the risk of burn out is very high - so please, continue to look after yourself 😘❤️

Gigi, please thank your son for his dedication with going to work to help others stay healthy. I pray he ended up with a negative result &amp; his symptoms stopping immediately. Kind of sounded like you're part of the medical field also? Thank you for your work to help the medical staff under your supervision staying legally able to help people.

Michelle Ross
>>35580363

Chen, thank you for choosing to go back to work to help the Autistic children under your care. I believe they will progress more than expected because of your dedication through this time. I pray you, your family, your Autistic kids, &amp; their families all stay completely healthy through all of this.

Michelle Ross

Rachel I hope &amp; pray more &amp; more paid work becomes more available. Also I truly hope your current part-time employer acknowledges how much more time you are working &amp; legally they are required to pay you for it. If you would like assistance, I could help you find people &amp; government agencies who can help you recoup the paychecks you should have received for all the work you've worked.

Michelle Ross

Gael, I'm so glad your mother has a doctor who understands & appreciates her personality. My mother actually has 2 serious mental health illnesses on top of her medical problems from aging. When she moved from California to be near me (or live with me off and on...now on for past 4 years) I asked a friend of mine who is a primary care doctor to take her as a patient since there's actually too much fraud in the medical field treating disabled & elderly who have government subsidized medical insurance in the U.S. (known as Medicaid & Medicare). He agreed saying he would treat her like she was a member of his own family. So every year or so I take donuts & fruit platters to his office as a thank you for continuing to put up with her brattiness, stubbornness & regular refusal to follow some of his instructions (stop smoking, take medicine as prescribed, take short walks outside, etc.).

Angela Call

Just listening this today. I decided to start taking better care of myself and take charge. Thanks to you and some of the members on here. I don’t know if i can go full blown vegan but i am definitely going to start moving more!
