Your guitar playing is getting so good! 😍 And I thought my previous landlord was horrible for making me wait to get my deposit back, you got two terrible ones in a row!😅 I'm sorry they tried to take advantage of your kindness, but I pray only good things come your way from now on 🤗 I love hearing stories about your folks, they're very interesting people. Take care to you and yours and thank you for soldiering on despite all the challenges. You're a trooper! 😘

Anonymous

Me heart is full hearing how far you have come! Thanks for being am inspiration through this challenging season. Your attitude in facing obstacles in life is out of this world. Gonna use the word from now on: We'll keep ploughing through! 💪 Take good care of yourself, and as always thank you for creating the best contents despite the circumstances. Love you to the moon and back 💓

Anonymous

Sending you hugs, so glad things are looking up for you and your progression on guitar is amazing! Update us often, love your rambles!❤️

Beautiful guitar playing, your story remind me of my old house, always cold in there and the landlord woulden't do a thing about it..great you are feeling bettet

Jenn (Preemie Cuddler)

It’s a glorious feeling to take back control! Please make sure if you buy you get a third party inspection of the place before signing anything! Keeping you close and in my prayers, handsome!😘❤️🎉🎉🎉 PS-Have you seen any of Frank of Ireland on Amazon Prime? Wondered what you thought if you had.

Anonymous

I swear since the pandamic the crazy people lost their last two brain cells. Nutjobs 🙄. But you handled the landlord well 👍🏾.

Laura Gahan

Delighted things are moving in better direction 🙌 ☺

Your guitar playing is improving so much! Please let us know when you start taking requests. I've got a couple that i'd love to hear you have a go at. 😉 Glad to hear you're getting back on your feet and taking your time to get things right.

I didn’t really explain it well in the ramble but the real reason why the landlord got angry is because she had lost her tenant and the cottage is just unliveable in during the winter months. She wasnt worried about anything other than fast money. But again, it’s a common theme here in Ireland.

Anonymous

Bright side of my insomnia is getting to listen to this straightaway-w00t! You and your guitar are vibing well; your finger work is cleaner and the overall sound is fuller, richer (in short: sounding good!). Between guitar skills and housing plans moving ahead, things are gettin’ better all the time-keep going, you’ve got this!

I’m glad you mentioned this since I was very interested in renting a cottage for my next trip to your country... We’ll be careful and first read online reviews. They must be helpful...

Anonymous

When I was younger I used to spend some time in houses without proper facilities, except “borrowed” electricity… so I can imagine how you felt a bit. It’s not something I wish for you. I’m not really fully up on the whole situation in Ireland, but I hear Blindboy often talk about the housing crisis, so I guess some people exploit that for their own gain. 😔 Your guitar play is so goood 👏🏼Moondance is lovely but I admit I’ve listened more to the cover than the original. I’m always happy to hear you sing too 🥰😌 Thanks for playing and the Ketchup😋

You really sound like such a trooper. I hope that soon you'll find your forever home and you'll be really happy there. Speaking of your landlord, you know what they say, don't you- karma really is a bitch, so sooner or later she'll get what she deserves. And how you can ask us not to worry about you? By now you should know that's impossible. If we wouldn't worry, it means we wouldn't care; if we wouldn't care, we wouldn't all be here, would we. Also, just wanted to say, the story with your mammy really made me laugh. Yes, maybe she swore the whole surgery, but at least she got her shot. My gran flatly refused. Yes, granny. Because Bill Gates wants to implant you with a chip. Just so he can keep an eye on the whereabouts of basically immobile, 90 year old gran. Get a load of this ejitology xxxx

Kathryn J.

What a wonderful surprise to wake up early and find your ramble. Glad that things are on the upswing for you. Your outlook is good. You played really well! "What a marvelous night for a moon dance." Just keep on keepin' on my darling boy. 💕💕💕 P.S. "Hey Joe!" and "Wasted Years!"😊

Anonymous

Ohh thank you for telling us all what happened to you G, even though I requested it the other day I’m sure you would have been planning this anyway 😍.. I’m so happy life is getting better for you....I swear your awful situations sound like storylines for audios or even a movie lol you can’t make that stuff up.. what a terrible collection of landlords...here’s to no more landlords and you finding your forever home you truly deserve it ...and thank you for all these audios you are giving us this week you truly are spoiling us so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️☕️❤️❤️❤️❤️

All meh life I think I'm crazy. I see the real crazies are the ones who put this in our poor heads. This city's (adults) act so pathetic crazy. 🙄

Catherine

Your Ma roasting people in the waiting area? I love it 😂.

Thank you for the update, G! I'm happy to hear you're in a better place now and that our support helps you 🤗 you're one of the sweetest people I have (n)ever met, and I just want to you to always be happy! Not going to say more about this, cause I know you don't really like that kind of attention (you'll just have to accept our love and worrying about you that comes with it though, cause I doubt that's ever going to change) P.s. Are you still sometimes checking #craicforce on Twitter? Some of the memes are hilarious, in case you need a laugh

It sounds like Air B&B is causing a huge headache for local people over there who trying to find places to rent, and that really sucks. I’m sorry. It’s a problem here in the US too in cities that attract a lot of tourists. Oh my word, Im appalled anyone would scream at you like that, especially knowing your family’s situation. Cue the sound of 4K lovelies unsheathing their swords **shrrring ⚔️** and riding into battle 🐎 🛡🗡. Jokes aside, your amazing attitude and heart will attract the perfect place, I just know it. Best of luck and warm hugs to ye 🦁💖💖

The universe has an interesting way of picking us up and putting us back down in the place we are needed. Hindsight is always 20/20, but it hurts when it first happens. Happy to hear you"re in a better place now 💜☺.

Anonymous

Wow I can’t believe that landlord, how unprofessional and downright heartless 😤 it’s a wild experience to be a victim of that kind of narcissistic rage. I’m sorry you had to go through that but good on you for keeping your cool. I guess people are people everywhere for better or worse. 😩 As always I so appreciate your outlook on life! Just acknowledge your mistakes and move on, it’s the best way indeed! I love your adventures with your parents and your guitar playing is improving! Onward and upward! 🤗💖

Anonymous

I didn’t know a landlord could just decide to sell a place there, I thought a lease would protect you if you were in it still 🥺

Anonymous

Oh my sweet lion, I am still so sorry you had to go through all of that rough stuff, and you handled it all with such grace. As with all obstacles, you came out of it with lessons learned, stories to tell, and the motivation to overcome it and be better in the end. And don't you dare blame yourself, that lady would have screwed you in one way or another, whether you had pictures as proof or not. I'm just glad you got out of there, although you could be right that it was the universe's way of telling you it's time to find a place of your own to call home. As ever, know that we will always be here for whatever support you need, just as you are always on our side. You keep on playing guitar like that and panties are gonna fill the air raining down on you. Your transitions are getting so much better and let me tell you I squealed with delight hearing you play All I Want Is You all the way through! The improvement since the very first time we heard you play is incredible. Keep staying positive and the right place will come to you. And then we can all party at Gael's Place.

Always here for ya, to support and giving much love&strength on your way ♥♥♥ Maybe not so verbaly all the time like now, I'm in a mental place where I needed a break from social media (twitter/FB), but I'm here 😊 and summer is coming and my situation will be less stressy so I can interact more. 😊 Love the fact that you have such lovely friends helping you out ♥, as you said it's all now behind you so I'm just gonna give you the biggest squeeze hug I can and say how happy I am that you survived it all. 💚🤗 Your mom&dad sound gold like 😁♥♥♥ I can picture those scenes so well in my head! The vacination schedule is so slow here, I might get my first in the fall or something, my mom&dad will get their seconds in july. 🙂 I was just floating like on cloud nine when you played the guitar, sooo relaxing ♥😍, thank you for that! It's been crazy like with work. I mean I love what I do, but my days are crazy full 😅😅 It was truly lovely hearing from you, have a great weekend okay lion 😘💋😊🤗♥

That was the problem. It wasn’t an agency rather going straight to the landlord so she essentially drew up the lease. So I was at her mercy.

Anonymous

I’m so glad to hear that you’re doing well and in a good head space G. You weathered a storm and learned some lessons along the way. That story of the cottage landlord was kinda terrifying. I’ve watched/listened to enough true crime that I don’t know what I would have done in that situation 😅 but I’m happy to hear that you got out of there safely and that crap is now behind you. Mama G sounds so awesome! Older folks have zero filter and I kinda love that. Tell it like it is mama! I can feel your confidence in your chord changes now and everything sounds a lot cleaner. I’m so proud of you dude. ❤️❤️

::Boop:: 👉🏻👃🏻 ughhh I had a rental situation similar to that. I leased this place in a hurry bc it was in a highrise I used to live in and when I went in to look and sign, they had candles going and everything seemed fine and nice and when I went to move in, I was hit with the strongest stench of dog pee! 😩😩 the parcel of pricks (thanks gael’s mom) hid the odor by lighting all the damn candles. There was a thick coating of pee on the carpet. Like eye wateringly bad. Ugh long story short, the agency let me break lease, but I lost first months rent and my security deposit. Still miffs me when I think about it. But the next place I got after that ended up being better. Sometimes the universe has a plan. And I NEVER hastily sign leases anymore...except for the last 2 cars I had that I got screwed on. But definitely not after that! 🤣😭 Your guitar playing and picking are sounding good! I brought out my guitar and ukulele a few days ago. I can never seem to keep my calluses long enough to consistently practice. My fingertips get so sore. Maybe I should just stick to the piano. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Good juju and energy to you, Gael. ✨✨

Anonymous

This landlord sounded like she was a whole parcel of pricks all by herself! It’s shite that you had to go through that mountain of malarkey with both landlords and all the lies and deception. Sometimes you do just have to say “ It is, what it is “, learn the lessons from it, chuck it in the fuck- it bucket and move on. If you dwell on it overmuch, you spend too much time looking backwards and you will trip trying to go forward. Happy to hear things are starting to level out a little. Sometimes those few moments of grace that find you, enable you to catch your breath long enough to find a headwind that helps you sail on. ;-) wonder where I heard that sage piece of advice? :)) I always love to hear your laugh and I can tell when you are seeing the scenario all over again in your head because we can hear it in your smile. When you tell a story, I almost feel like I was there too. Thanks for all you do for us and soldiering on with such a great attitude. Much luck to you. <3

Anonymous

My God, imagine yelling at someone like that when she knew damn well for herself, and heard from people over and over again, that the place was inhospitable. Add onto that knowing the rough time you were going through personally. Taking advantage. Heartless. The way you kept your cool in the face of her meltdown brings to mind someone with your same name, (sort of, ha!) Gayle King, and when she famously interviewed R. Kelly and he just lost his shit and stood up and started yelling and swinging his arms, and the whole time she remained seated and still, calmly repeating, "Robert... Robert...". Of course the memes flowed out of that, because people naturally found the humor in it, but I remember hearing her say later that she was trying to calm him without directly engaging him lest he become more agitated, because she was worried he was going to accidentally hit her. It didn't show one bit. Anyway, reminded me of you here, Mr. Nerves of Steel. I want to give you a hug for having gone through that.🤗❤ I'm glad you're out of that icy cottage. I just know you're going to take your time and find a beautiful, comfortable home that suits your needs perfectly.❤ I want you happy.❤ Please, play and sing for me anytime, I love it so much.🎶🥰😍❤ & I'm happy to hear that the Force family is protected from the virus! I had to giggle at how they got there, though.😂💕 The lengths you're having to go through to record, man! Thank you. Sending you my love!🤗😚❤❤❤❤❤

I’ve been reading about the housing issues in Ireland lately. It’s like the cards are stacked against people trying to just buy a permanent place to live. Everything seems geared towards AirBnB’s for tourists. I hope things ease up and you find that forever home! You sound like me learning ukulele. I’ll make a sound when I mess up but I’ll keep going and then do it again. Repetition builds that muscle memory and you just get better and better! I haven’t touched it in ages so you’ve inspired me to pick it up again. Life has been throwing curveballs and I’ve forgotten the joy playing an instrument brings. So thank you for that! Sending all my love to you and your family! And may the bluebird of happiness shit on the heads of horrible landlords! Big muahs to you! 😘♥️

Anonymous

Thanks for the ketchup and guitar playing too. So glad you are out of that crazy cottage with the psycho landlady.... geeezzz what a crazy person. I know you will find what you are looking in a home. When one door closes another opens. 😊 🤗❤

You are priceless... Do we need to go bust some kneecaps... Nobody better be talking to you some kind of way like that. Your parents sound like a real grand time. They love you. Whatever your situation is, it's all going to work out. You got this! Fate has a way of moving us when we won't move. There there love, let's go bake you some warm cookies.🍪

“When you make mistake, you acknowledged it and just move on...You make the mistake, correct it....Don’t be hard on yourself....And you’ll find you just get better and better” - Gael, 2021. I learned so much from you, I want to be you when I grow up 😌🙌🏼 Don’t you guys just love it when people give you updates on their life even though you didn’t ask for it in the first place? I feel so special 😅 No? Only me? Lol anywaaaay~ I’m so happy to know things for you are finally sailing smoothly as of the moment. Thanks again for the ramble and always stay safe! 🥰♥️ P.S getting better and better with your Geetar eh? 👏💯 PPS. What a mad woman!! God bless her! PPPS. Warm hugs for you for being so strong all the time! Hang in there Gaelie, you’ll soon find your forever home! 🤗♥️

Of all the people, she should have understand his situation more and at least try to be more considerate 😕😕

Thank you for all that you do, you've endured a lot these past few months, but then we all have. I have always loved your attitude and perseverance to rise above the langers and move along, nothing to see here, just move along, leave them to their issues and keep going. Giant atomic heart hugs to you sir, and a smooch on the nose, just cause

As much as I hate the thought of you suffering through those struggles, I’m very happy you’ve come out the other side & can look back now and find purpose in it. I relate to that completely. Please know I’m over here wishing you every good thing and all the happiness your big ol heart can handle. You are so deserving of it. You’re a lighthouse and it’s still amazing to me how you managed to keep shining for the rest of us despite all the crashing waves & hammering rain. And peckerhead landlords. Eternally grateful you never gave up. Onwards & upwards! ✨

I was so sorry to hear what a tricky time you've been going through. It's so impressive and inspiring to hear how you're moving forward. You seem like such a lovely guy and wonderful son. You deserve so much love and happiness. Sending you a million good wishes.

No love letter or great words this time, but I’d love to mention one or two thingies: first of all I love what Jen said about your Mama and that some older folks have zero filters?! Yes Jen yes and yes to Mama G. I’m loving her !! secondly, if I were you I would’ve reported the landlord from your first house. I would’ve done it immediately, but I know it’s perhaps too late... and last but not least, your rambles are one in a million.... Stay safe my goodest good friend ☘️

Kathy Mc

What a story!! I'm so heartbroken for your shit landlord's treatment of you, but laughing at your wonderful parents' attitude! Your guitar playing has improved a lot!! Karma will deal with the crazy lady and reward you with a beautiful forever home, I just know it! Your attitude is a tremendous asset to your situation and you have us cheering and pushing you forward. We love you so much and with this much love, things will be set right!! Good luck and stay warm and safe!! Sending a million hugs, kisses, and good wishes!🌹🌹🌿🌿🌷🌷🍃🍃🍁🌻🌺🌺🌸🌸💐💐😂😂😘😘😘😘🍻🍻🍺🍺💞💞💞💖💞😚😚😚

Raise your hand if yo mama also doesn’t give a fuck 🖐🏼 Can we start a support group or something? ‘Cause it’s SOOO embarassing in the moment (even if you can laugh about it later). 🤦🏻‍♀️💀

That landlord sounds a real piece of work but you handled it with grace. You have a positive attitude that will hopefully lead you to your forever home soon. Thanks for the lickle ketchup. Biggest atomic heart hugs 🤗💖

Oh my goodness., parcel of pricks....LOL LOVE it! Stealing that one from Mama G, and you can tell her that Gael. Big Hug,

Thanks "G" this so great with how busy you are I appreciate that you take time to just share your thoughts and your music. Your the best, Stay strong and keep that lovely sense of loving life and making all of us smile.

It sounds like the worst is behind you, and you’ve gained your footing on the situation - that’s definitely something to feel good about. I don’t mean to be a downer, but that was some serious shit that happened and I could hear it. I’m glad your friend saw it, and convinced you to get out. I know you’re reluctant to accept help, and to talk about super personal stuff, so I appreciate you opening up about it. Gaelforce Audios doesn’t work without Gael, so I hope you know we’re here to support you. That’s the truth, and you can bet on it. The Bob Dylan sounded good. The U2 gave me the feels - you’ve really gotten better at that one. If you continue to hum/sing like that I’m gonna turn into a squealing teenage fangirl. You bastard!

Maria

It's good to hear a bit of your life but it's definitely better knowing that you got out of a bad situation. I was a bit worried about that but yeah, good to hear. Haha your mom sounds like a riot! I loved that bit as I was laughing in bed and trying not to wake up my roommate. Btw the guitar playing is sounding fantastic – can't wait for more of it.

Anonymous

There's a lot to unpack here! Firstly, whilst we're on a package related note, "parcel of pricks" is absolute comedy gold!! Thanks and praise go to Mammy G for that awesome line! I shall now be repurposing that phrase throughout my daily life 😆👏 It's hard to hear that anyone with such a kind, creative and luminous soul has had to endure those difficulties. However, it's reassuring to know that you're now in a brighter place and that better days are now within reach. I think we can all relate to having experienced our own personal versions of dark times in the past year but your optimism and strength during these challenges has helped so many across the world.🤗💪 Your rambles and guitar playing are so great for giving that feeling of being with a friend, expanding perspectives on life and having a giggle. These are the gems of life that I've sorely missed since lockdown life became the norm. Massive thanks for providing us Lovelies with that enrichment amongst many other things 🥲 I could waffle on more and get all emotional about transformational healing and human connection but I'll curb it here before I deep dive into that mess! Sending good vibes, strength, positivity and happy energy your way. I'll join the many thousands of other Lovelies here in reiterating that I hope you find your perfect home sweet home when the time is right so you can continue to create, prosper and inspire 🏡🤗🥳

Super happy that you're happier & in a better frame of mind so to speak. Being from hot & humid Texas I pray for cold....... (well lets face it a degree less than hell LOL) weather! When we went a week w/o heat /lights in Feb during our "Winter freeze" it was mind blowing how quickly I wanted to be warm. I have no clue what it's like to live in a place where seasons actually take place. I just know what holidays link up to winter /cooler months LOL . I am very much aware that Hurricane season is drawing near. Usually when we get a "cold" winter our hurricane season tends also to be bad, Just depends if it hits Florida, Louisiana, or us in Houston/Galveston area..... I do gotta admit that the bedtime stories happen to be a personal fav of mine!!!!! Bonus for me because it takes me forever to fall asleep, I have an even harder time when it just my mind going so I usually have light noise in the background just to fall asleep. So as many bedtime stories you wanna do I am behind that 100%........I am glad your parents got their vaccines, Covid is a bitch & is unforgiving to the human soul!!!! I had Covid back in Nov I was admitted into ICU 1 day before my birthday & I was there almost a month. Being a nurse I had a cheat code in a way, knowing which questions to answer correctly I probably got out way before I should have til this day I still have issues with taste & smells. I wouldn't wish it on the devil him/herself....... To lift my spirts & to end on a positive note I love your giggles & how you laugh after your own jokes it's adorable. It's official that you have the cutest giggle ever!!!! I wish you continued success G, I have also been enjoying the vlogs as well! Also for any mothers who may be reading this I wish you a Happy Mother's day!!!! Remember you can't spell Orgasm w/o the G !!! lol just kidding....well kinda....Hmmm the world may never know

Hiya gael I cant believe the way she treated u and knowing how cold that cottage was, my brother had the same issue when he moved in his flat he didn't take pics and then when he wanted to move out he didn't get his deposit back cause there was a tear in the carpet and he didn't do it.

You are brilliant with that guitar and I'll always be your cheerleader hehe, your mum is soo funny I was giggling. When u were saying what happened to u i was nearly crying cause a lovely kind caring man doesnt deserve to be treated like that she shouldn't be allowed to use it as a air bnb. Love to u and your family Gael mwah! ❤❤❤💋

It’s nice to hear your rambles because underneath it all we have lives and they get crazy and they get hard. Really hard. Last year was the hardest year of my life. I know that there will be hard times again but it helps us to cherish the little happy moments even more. We really do come out different on the other side of our hard ships but hopefully for most of us we learn things and take things away from them. Each mountain is an experience is all. Some good and some bad. More experience equals finding the real you and what makes you happy in life. And.....you’re absolutely correct about accepting and moving on. Accept it and move on. Acknowledge and move on other wise it will hold you prisoner forever. You’re strong and will come out stronger in the end. You’ve already learned that you want to take your time and not rush in and house hunting is like car shopping, it’s emotional and a commitment. Lastly, we burn wood here and if you don’t have proper insulation and such it’s like sitting around a camp fire when it’s -20 degrees. Does you no good. Good luck! 👍 You got this! Stay strong and experience life along the way😊

Anonymous

I’ve experienced some absolutely wretched landlords and roommates (several who were **both**)... experienced something similar to this but not quite as horrendous. I’m glad that’s behind you but wooooo... 😡 that bitch better have some karma coming around to her soon. Glad things are looking up for you. 💕

Anonymous

I got really frustrated on your behalf here lol. Additionally I've been through similar things with rentals. I'm so glad it's over and you're moving on. Poor living conditions can really mess with your peace of mind, especially when you're kind of stuck in the situation. Good luck finding a peaceful, warm house to call yours!!

Anonymous

Just got to see it, but a ramble posted on my birthday definitely made it even more bright. And hearing that things are looking up and you are finally out of that situation; it's a big relief. And the fact that that... person knew the conditions of the cottage and knowingly rented it sickens me. I'm glad it's in your past and for your soothing optimism. The playing is going beautifully! And is very quickly becoming one of my favorite aspects of a ramble. Love being serenaded. Take care of yourself! <3

Anonymous

Ahhh I'm glad the situation with the crazy lady is sorted and I'm glad your outta this pretty cottage from outside but absolutely unsafe/unlivable/unsuitable from the inside! My God! Must've been a nightmare for ye my poor fella! It really bothers me when some landlords use ppl and their situation for the money! Worst manners and absolutely disgusting. But.... Like you said, everything happens for a reason and what happened to you is a good learning for you and for us listeners.. I trust your judgment and I'm pretty sure you will take the right steps to reach your goal finding the proper and suitable place to feel and be safe first and foremost and also to be able to create and to not worry about lease and landlords.. Sending you many many hugs and kisses, love, good vibes, positive enerdree and many lucky clovers mixed with Egyptian sparks 🍀✨

LilacW

It's been raining the last couple of days here. I'm here at the office and needed company while I'm plodding away at work. I was looking for a ramble I haven't listened to and here it is. I miss your guitar playing. Have you continued learning more songs? Your stories are always so charming on top of being either joyful or edge-of-your-seat like. Haha. It's odd to think you recorded this was four years ago. It feels like an age ago now. You're my quiet, cozy companion this afternoon. Thank you for keeping me company.
