I'm at work, at my desk. And I'm lulled into relaxing. I love the whispers in each ear. It's giving me goosebumps, where I imagine fingers are running through my skin. And to speak in Gaelic, and the sheet ruffles, I can only sigh in calmness and relaxation. You are tonic, G.

Anonymous

I'm about to sleep and of course you have perfect timing as usual 🥰

I have to add this comment...the song...the song is so beautiful. I almost teared up in joy. I would have placed a kiss were I lay and hugged tighter in appreciation. It's pure tenderness.

Omg you sang She Moves through The Fair! 😍 My head is tingling so pleasantly and until you said "let go into me..", I didn't realize how tense I've been all day, caring for a sick kitten. Thank you G for always being our comfort in a click ❤️💕

❤❤❤ "My heart is in your heart", is the most beautiful, romantic and touching words I've ever heard. Anytime you speak Gaelic, I'm clay in your hands, ready to be sculpted. The song you sang.... just sigh. This audio just got me all in my feelings😊😢😌❤. Thank you honey bunny. 💥❤🤗

Today has been one of those really weird days. I was going to save this for later and I happened to get a message from Chelli that you sang one of my favorites and I knew this was the perfect remedy for this day. Thank you for this gem. Thank you for using my all time favorite Irish phrase, too. The most romantic thing I’ve ever heard. You always know. Thank you for always knowing. ❤️ I didn’t expect to cry, but I obviously needed it.

Wow. This immediately became one of my favorites. So so sweet 🤍

Sinead has a "He" version of this song and she sang it beautifully 💚 https://youtu.be/a_XoZhEX3kQ One of the comments said: "As she's singing, she's not trying to remember the words, she's seeing the story in her mind!" And that's exactly the impression I got while she's singing. Sinead will always be a legend! ❤

Oh My Goodness I Love This So Much ❤️ This one feels so very real and textured and palpable; like if I closed my eyes and reached out you’d actually be there ❤️ Today was my first day of training at my new school, first day of getting up early enough for my new commute, which is almost an hour longer than my old one. I’m very excited and happy and also overwhelmed and tired and I listened to this sitting in my driveway when I got home and I was so soothed. I was not expecting you to sing!!! I LOVE *She Moved Through The Fair*, I melted, and, I have to admit, I cried. I didn’t think I would, but I definitely did. Going to listen to this again at bedtime. Feeling so loved and safe is such a gift ❤️Thank you, G. You really do always know 🥰

This is just so beautiful.❤ I felt it deep in my heart. I'm almost speechless. Your singing got me, though. My eyes became misty then.🤗😚❤❤❤💝

Someone had a rough first day back for classes *cough cough* LOL (last 3 months of nursing school though yay) and this truly was the remedy for my sadness. I can’t say thank you enough, after listening to this and resting a bit it gave me the energy to get up and start again; I truly mean it! Also, I’m really digging the singing, I’d love to hear it appear in some more audios 💕 thanks again, truly :)

I was done after precious angel and then the lullaby. I closed my eyes and felt every single word. Another masterpiece. Thank you. 🥰🤗

Oh my hormones!! 🥲🥲🥲 This is so beautiful - like an extended afterglow, but mixed with sleepytime comfort. So, so beautiful 🥰

After snuggles are always the best, as he caresses your hair and makes contented noises, as your falling asleep with your head on his chest, but to get a beautiful song as well (first time I've heard this as far as I know), well, that is just heaven. Thank you, this was beautiful comfort

Anonymous

Oh wow 🥰 This is so amazing. Your voice when you’re singing and it’s still a half a whisper 💕 Forget my lower tum.. I’m feeling it all the way in my toes and the tip of my nose. And you said A rúnsearc 🔒❤️ 😍 Feeling loved and safe in your arms 🥰

~~~ Me about G ~~~ Only a voice from many, many miles away, Never have I ever heard anything so enticingly beautiful, Never have I ever felt so strong an ardent soul, Never have I ever sensed a truly anonymous giving spirit, And never will I ever think again that one person can’t make a difference.
Gael…Thank you. 🙏This was needed. Life has really been testing me and my family the past few years after the sudden loss of my brother who was my best friend, adored by everyone, & a major source of strength in our family. I’ve been staying strong trying to keep the family together and fill the void we all feel now especially for his kids but lately I am just worn out! Your words and your voice are so perfectly serene & soothing. Your singing is comforting and the beauty of the song because he will soon be reunited with his love again in the afterlife, also comforting to me.😘
such a sweet calming audio, this is gonns be my go to sleep audi now, thsnks G!
I have so much anxiety and nervous energy, and you say "Let go into me, YEAH" 😩😍 you give me permission to still...then you sing to me...all this after you've made sweet love to me. This is beautifully written and the mood is set so well💖
LilacW
I don't think an audio has directly inspired me to write a companion/complementary piece before. This one has, for all it's tenderness and love. Here it is. I'll share it on the community page with the accompanying art work. You spoke to my poet's heart, seduced it with a lullaby. Melody so arresting the nightingales stopped to listen. Still, the air moves. My eyebrows flutter tears of tenderness. Our fingertips                        dancing           in tune. Your soft whispers caress as we tumble into dreaming, enveloped in the bliss of our gentle flame's embrace.
I can't believe the amount of times I've already listened to this and had the best sleep! I really loved falling asleep to the sleepy mumbly singing. ❤️
" you don't love someone because of their looks, clothes, fancy cars but because they sing a song only you can hear" - Oscar Wilde. Precious angel you are. These loving audios are such water to the soul. Hug her tightly. Your beautiful little voice. Thanking you so kindly for such an endearing beautiful lullaby.🤗💙😴💤💤
Calypso
This has put me to sleep two nights in a row plus a nap. Pure audio gold. 💚
Normally I'm one hard faced woman I'm 3 minutes in and welling up I don't know what's wrong with me. However this is a beautiful audio and I will return to it
Those tags do not lie; this is audio is all of the above! And I’m a physical puddle of goo thanks to the asmr effects. Thanks!😘
Maria
Thank you! These tags didn't lie, and it was a fantastic listen. The whispering and slight growling will always get me.
Another Other Jen
I love this audio, this is exactly the sort of thing I look for when I’m feeling stressed, sad, scared, generally overwhelmed by life and need to break out of my own head and fall into something/somewhere else. A different story than the one I’m living. But then… this song. Lol, it’s a beautiful song, the Loreena McKennitt version periodically pops into my head because it’s just that lovely and haunting… but I’m maybe an odd one out in having always considered this a deeply creepy, vaguely ominous song? 😂 (I mean, it does end with a visiting ghost promising “it won’t be long until our wedding day” with the pretty clear implication that that’s ‘cause his death is imminent, which… uhm… yeah, lol.) Don’t get me wrong though, that honestly only makes me like this audio better, the man who’d try to soothe me to sleep by singing a spooky ghost story would definitely be the man of my dreams and it’s something I’ve only now discovered I want… It’s a rare audio that legitimately teaches me something new about myself. 😁
Jen, Your post really resonated with me. I agree with what you wrote about being able to step out of your life and be somewhere else even if only for 20 minutes and have that escape because life does get overwhelming (I mean let's add a pandemic and now new Covid variants to the already difficult things we all have to deal with at times, Really Universe?) It's an escape that no one else gets to share in and when you are there no when else can reach you, it's something I get to selfishly have all to myself in my little corner of the world. I also agree with you that the song is a bit haunting & dark. I first heard it on one of Sinead O'Connor's albums where she sang about a male love but when I heard Loreena Mckennitt's live concert version I thought it was hauntingly beautiful in the sense that he now finally gets to be with his true love in the after life.
Maria
So I listened to this again and it was just the thing to listen but I'm wondering what was it you said in Gaelic? Was it Gaelic.. And wondering if there's other audios in the same?
Hi, Maria : ) Gael sprinkles Irish-Gaelic into a lot of his audios. He's very good about giving the translation right after. So in this audio it's "agus tá do chroí istigh i mo chroí" = and your heart is in my heart. He often uses "leannán" (love) as an endearment. Some of the audios are tagged with "Gaelic" if you want to do a search. He has a couple that are solely in Irish: https://www.patreon.com/posts/orgasmic-gaelic-48855633 https://www.patreon.com/posts/gaelic-kisses-in-29098140
I do love it when u sing to us..i almost fell asleep to this.
I had a thought while listening to this, which is that you really make it seem like a privilege to love and take care of your partner, rather than an obligation. I think that’s such a beautiful thing
