I have been the bad, downstairs neighbor. I remember how annoyed the cops were they even had to come to our door, just this look of, "were you raised by wolves?" Because who the heck puts shoes in the drier at 3 am? Me, I did dumb ass shit like that. Or I wonder in me shotgun works, let's check on the front porch at 2 am.

I have lived beneath idiotic young men, and have been the idiot too. But the Forrest Gump line had nearly killed me!

My first time living away from home, was in the Marines, but after I got back stateside, I lived in an apartment building with two other people. Shenanigans were common. The Indian family that lived in the building next door was the most patient people and were very polite and helpful. The people who lived below us were from Mexico and they would always have us over for tamales or something. Our landlord was the only person that would rent a place for three guys that were working in the trades and had us do small repairs on the neighbors units, for a bit of a discount on the rent .
