Hi everyone!

We’re doing everything we can to bring the release of the new version of Tame It Too! closer, and we’ve been working hard on it every single day. The past week was packed with new tasks, improvements and plenty of work on things that were already in progress.

Northern Valley Update

The northern part of the Valley has undergone some noticeable changes. Since this area turned out to be quite large and takes up almost a third of the entire Valley, we decided to make it a little more compact on the western side. The coastline now meets a rocky ridge, and several points of interest have been moved closer together.

Everything feels much more balanced now, with points of interest distributed more evenly throughout the area. We think this should make exploring this part of the Valley much more enjoyable!

Geyser Biome

The long-planned geyser biome, which was designed to connect to the lava biome, is finally almost finished! We’ve added geysers shooting towering columns of hot water into the air, and we hope they turned out as impressive as we imagined.

We have several more plans for this part of the Valley, but we’ll keep those secrets to ourselves for now.

New Points of Interest

Several new points of interest have found their place in the northern part of the Valley. Most of them will have something useful hidden nearby: a scroll with words from the local language, a crystal, or perhaps even some well-hidden treasure chests.

So while exploring, don’t forget to check out those less obvious corners of the map. You never know what treasures might be waiting for you!

Girls’ Activities

Work on the girls’ daily activities is moving along at full speed. Many of the animations have already been set up, added to the game and connected to their schedules. Several more new animations are finished and waiting to be added, while a few more are still in progress.

Teleport Visual Update

We’ve wanted to make active teleports much easier to spot from a distance for quite some time, and we’ve finally gotten around to it!

Now, every active teleport will have a bright pink orb floating inside of it, similar to the one Bunny emerged from when you first met her. The glowing particles around the teleports have also been changed to the same pink color, making them much easier to see.

Status Effects & Temporary Bonuses

Status effects and temporary bonuses have now been added to the game. They can be triggered by all kinds of actions and situations. Got a good night’s sleep? You’ll get a sprint bonus for the entire day. Cooked a dish that boosts your health? Enjoy the extra benefits. Accidentally stepped on an explosive trap? Well… that counts too!

All of these effects are now displayed as clear, colorful icons next to your status bars in the upper-left corner of the screen.

We wanted to give cooking a more meaningful role and make preparing new dishes more rewarding. Going forward, we’ll keep working to make cooking even more varied, with food bonuses that provide noticeable benefits.

New Sounds

Several new sound effects have been created for monsters, teleports and different biomes. We’re continuing to add more life and atmosphere to the world of Tame It Too!

Auto-Loot

We’ve added a feature that many of you have been waiting and asking for — auto-loot! No more bending down to pick up every little item. As long as there’s enough space in your inventory, all nearby loot will automatically fly straight into it (except for quest items, which still need to be picked up manually).

If you don’t find this feature useful, you can turn it off in the settings. For now, it will be enabled by default in the Android version and disabled by default on desktop.

Optimization

We’ve managed to make some very effective optimization improvements. The build size has been noticeably reduced, but more importantly, performance on Android has improved significantly, and you should notice the difference on desktop as well. We’re definitely moving in the right direction!

Demo

In the next few days, we’re planning to update the Tame It Too! demo on Steam. It will include a huge number of fixes and improvements made since the previous demo, as well as some of the new features mentioned above, including auto-loot, food effects, and the updated teleport visuals.

Thank you all so much for your support, dear friends! Stay tuned so you don’t miss anything, because the most exciting stuff is still ahead!

Have a fantastic week and stay awesome!

English (Translated by an AI): I really like the idea of automatically collecting resources; it reduces the grind factor and benefits players—especially during repeat playthroughs—when certain actions have become routine and are more annoying than entertaining. But you shouldn't make it free! Otherwise, it would just be an exploit that leads to the same result as massive grinding: boredom. Instead, it would be fair if we could collect items automatically but required a tool that still wears out in the process. For example, an axe for wood and bamboo, a pickaxe for stone and ore, a scythe (yet to be added) for harvesting berries and other fruits, or even a long pole to knock fruit down from trees. If we harvest by hand, on the other hand, tools wouldn't be consumed when gathering pickable resources. For ores, wood, or clay, wear and tear would be lower when doing the work ourselves, but higher when using the tools for auto-looting. And, of course, make the whole feature optional.

ERROR REPORT I have also noticed that, since the last update, *Tame It Too* no longer loads my save files. I can start and save a new game, but as soon as I try to load a save file, the game freezes on the loading screen and can only be closed via the Task Manager. This wasn't an issue before; please look into it.

Manka Games

Thank you for such a thoughtful and genuinely useful suggestion! We agree that auto-loot could make it too easy and eventually lead to boredom. We’ll take another look at how this feature works and try to come up with a solution that makes it more convenient without taking away the fun and challenge. As for making it optional, it already is! You can disable auto-loot in the game settings 😉 Thanks again for taking the time to share your ideas with us!
