Draw This Again (Patreon)

This artwork is actually far from the best of all my works from 2016, but it has a special meaning for me. Because this was my first attempt to make grayscale art and then color it. I thought that this technique may be a really cool for a start.

 - First of all, It allows you to choose light and dark areas and get enough contrast.

- Second - it helps to start painting even if you are still not decided with the color pallet. 

The old work I made very quick, just for trying the new technique. And I wanted to make the new one as fast as I could too. But I couldn't resist and spent more time than I expected :D

The whole piece took me around three hours to finish. And actually I'm really pleased how it turned out (=^ ω ^=)

Of course I still have a lot to learn, but I'm really happy with the progress. It's really inspiring, when look back and see all the improvements you've made.

But I think what is more important is enjoying each work you make. And don't think about chasing quality or something. It's only distracting and depressing.

Take your time! We all will find our style one day ^^ Don't need to push it!
