Downpour (Patreon)

Sophia looking to be having a day so bad she's simply numb to the whole situation.

Rare for me to draw moodier stuff, but I do like how this turned out. For the backstory, I figure Soph had a string of bad events/misfortunes occur within a short amount of time, capped off with a timely downpour while she's outside without an umbrella. Sophia is ordinarily quite particular about her appearance, but here is so broken and numb that she doesn't appear to care that she's being drenched. It's just another part of her bad day.

This is basically a remake of a picture from a few years ago, but expanded on and with more time put into it. I've had this scene in my mind for a while and wanted to draw it out properly. I think I did a better job this time around, particularly with her ears. I also enjoyed handling the effects here, particularly the rain/wet fabric.
