The H0N3Y may not be that big on the scale of other spaceships, but Honey's Patrol Ship is outright huge compared to a group of goons.

Umm... wouldn't firing those cannons kill Honey as well, and/or space the lot of them?

Victory through intimidation. Classic example is a group taking on a man with three bullets. They'll certainly overwhelm and kill him, but not before he kills three of them first. And no one is eager to be the three that die.

Robert here! My thought was that lasers, being made of *light*, can likely pass straight through transparent glass without damaging it. Not so much for these goons' fleshy, opaque bodies, though.
