This short vertical video was created as a commissioned AI-based experiment, using generated images, brief animated clips, editing and sound design.
It is not one of my official works. I am sharing it more as a visual test.
I do find AI useful. It can help me study extreme muscular anatomy, explore unusual poses, imagine environments, and develop ideas faster during the early concept stage. For the kind of exaggerated bodies and impossible physiques I often work with, it can be an interesting tool for research and visual experimentation.
But I do not want it to replace the act of drawing.
Outside of playful video experiments like this one, I still intend to use AI mainly as a starting point: a way to test ideas, build anatomical references, explore poses, and open possible directions. My finished illustrations will continue to be drawn through my usual process, combining work on paper with digital drawing on a tablet.
I prefer an image with human imperfections, corrections, and effort behind it, even if it takes much longer to complete.
For me, the value is not only in the final result, but in the act of constructing the image. That said, I do not want to sound like I am judging anyone who uses AI differently. I understand its value, even for creating finished images, and I think it can be a very useful creative assistant. This is simply how I prefer to use it in my own process.
Ok, enough philosophy for one post.Thank you, as always, for your support — and I hope you enjoy this little experiment
