NOIR INTERLUDES — Character Studies (Patreon)

A small collection of standalone black-and-white studies.

These images started as simple visual experiments — studies of anatomy, composition, contrast, atmosphere and exaggerated physicality in a noir setting.

At the same time, they also became some of the first visual drafts for a much larger noir project I've been developing and that I'll begin sharing very soon.

They aren't actual scenes from the story, and the character shown here aren't necessarily part of it. Think of them more as early explorations of its visual language: powerful silhouettes, deep blacks, urban nights, intimate interiors, and a world where extreme female physicality feels completely natural.

For now, they're simply fragments, sketches and ideas.

I may occasionally post more collections like this between the larger projects.
