Heya Gang,

The new episode under development now includes 17 animations. I've again significantly reduced the file size of these animation by using only the animated bits, not the static background. This on occasion causes a small vertical line distortion, not perfect but worth it. For the other new features see last week's post.

Early Access is live and can be played by Dev patrons and up on the website (Games -> Current) after logging in.

It's a long story again but supporters can skip parts of the narrative. They'll loose out on the max score though but that's not stored yet and in the release version you can choose to keep your existing score if it's better so you'll only need to navigate the narrative once. Episode doesn't store anything yet (feel free to experiment) but it does retrieve stored data so exiting choices -names, relations- can be used again if you want.

There's still quite a bit to be done, mostly animations and a number of 'linking' renders. I've got most of the introduction story done but I still need to do a lot of the action narrative. I'm also still trying to get inventory management up this episode.

Last but not least, by popular demand, Dev Supporters and up can now download a stand alone version of the previous episode that runs from your hard drive so no connection needed & fast access to images & animations. They'll get the password to the .zip archive in an IM. This is not exactly the same as the supporters version played on the website nor is it the free version guests play. It's a hybrid. It has some shit like logo & stuff on it but the waiting time to continue is short, the choices are all available, there's no annoying ads mid game.

That's it for this week, stay tuned, enjoy your weekend, have fun!
