Encounter - Changing of the Guard (Patreon)

Put your players' stealth and cunning to the test as they attempt to frame a local official for corruption!

This is an encounter that emphasizes stealth and deception over direct combat. As such, it will work well for players at most levels — though I would recommend running it before your spellcasters get too powerful. Once players have access to 'Modify Memory' or 'Mass Suggestion', a mission like this could become too easy.

I wrote this encounter specifically for my Valwind Heights setting (the location of the Blood & Silk campaign), but it can be run in any urban area.
