Solve a murder mystery that leads from the gambling tables of a canalboat casino to the bloody sands of Darkengate Arena!

This is an adventure for players at Level 4 and Level 8. Alternative, beefed-up statblocks are included for key enemies, along with advice on how to restructure some encounters, so you should be able to run all of the combat scenarios for a higher or lower level party without much difficulty.

I have to say... I love this adventure. It has plot twists, false identities, a casino mini-game, rotting cult fanatics, secret villains, and a lot of noir detective themes. The idea was to create something that felt dark and gritty, with lots of morally grey characters and ethical dilemmas for the players. I ran the adventure for some friends last month, spreading it across three sessions, and the final arena battle was one of my favorite moments.

Sorry that this was delayed by a few days; trying to get it done while also dealing with the festive period and the wrap-up of my old job was a lot, but I'm really pleased with the results. Also, as of now, I am a full-time D&D creator, so expect...a lot of content coming down the line.

Happy new year!

Does anyone have any experience printing these maps at staples for a table instead of online use? What sizing is the best for printing

Really loved reading through this adventure! Would love an expansion on it! ☺️ A full setting guide or even another adventure.

One of my players guessed the secret identity by accident. He's the player that never pays attention. It caught me so off guard lol
