Great episode again! Love the segment. In "Wetten Dass" the bets were submitted by viewers who believed they have special talents. The editors of the show then selected the most intriguing bets from these submissions to be showcased. So the people doing the bets / stunts choose their task themselves. It's gives me goosebumps to see these scenes again! I saw it live this day and I can clearly remember the shock back then.

So if german TV is not off the charts for you, you should look into the "Hostages of Gladbeck" situation. The police couldn't get to the hostage takers, because reporters swarmed around them. Also they killed a kid an threw it out of the bus and the news reporters held the dead kid's head in the camera to get better shots. Also your description of "Wetten, dass...?" is not 100% true. The contestants don't get the tasks from the show, but the contestants suggest their own stunts. The showrunners decide, if that's interesting enough and then the contestants are tested if they really could pull this off. If they can, they are allowed to do that in the live show.

Nick, I recently came across your YouTube channel 3 weeks ago. I’ve watched 3\4 of your content that left me very hooked up. You have a great voice, video quality and stories that I have never heard. I’m from Ottawa, Ontario. Keep up!
