NTR’s State of the Gameplay, 2025 (Patreon)
Content
Hey ho, beWildernaut-os. Who’s ready for a big post’em up about all things NTR gameplay then? I asked about it some Progress Posts back, and the results were a whopping 85%+ of you wanted to hear a lot more, so here’s a good time to lay out where we’ve managed to get to on the game elements of the… well… the game. As of v0.26.1, which added a whopping 21 new outcomes, we’re reached as much content as 2025 can give us, and what’s more next year’s roapmapping will be shifting towards a gameplay focus since now fan votes are pointing the way for new content ahead, so this post will be a fine primer for what’s to come. So let’s play!
I suppose the place to start is with a statement of progress, right? Well the state of the gameplay is good, and getting better. As of the latest release, we’re just shy of hitting the halfway mark of what I consider to be the minimum but substantial amount of content to make the year(ish) of running Little Toscana action packed and interesting. In fact, we’re at 49.6% (330 of 664 planned outcomes) and counting. There may come a time when there’s room to add some more to help balance the game towards the girls earning more per day or to expand on Noe’s day off activities, or to leave it and spend more CGs per version on scenes, we shall see once we get there, but for now we’re on the hunt for enough to make the game go round with fun and sexy without getting too bogged down in it all.
Now, let’s get bogged down! Ha. I’m going to split this post into 2 sections from here, one for the Restaurant Manager where the focus often lies the most, and then the Day Off. Given the split between them in game is almost 4:1 to the Restaurant, as it should be, expect a deeper focus on that side of things. So off we go! Let’s take a seat and I’ll walk you through the menu.

Restaurant Manager Section
The Restaurant Manager has been the heart of the gameplay for a long time, and it’s always awesome to see it grow with sexy scenarios for all the girls, good and bad. It’s taught me a lot about the practicalities and pitfalls of gameplay designing for the future too, but there’s still a lot of potential yet to tap. As we stand, this side of the gameplay is further along from the average, now reaching 53% complete. Each of the girls has 67 outcomes across all tasks to find right now, except for Noe herself who has 61 since she can’t use the rest task herself. What’s more, with 5 planned levels of lewdness and feminine wiles at play, we’ve still only scratched the surface of it all with Lv1-3 being all we’ve had so far. That’s largely due to the Nerve system unlocking them, which is something I’d like to touch on now.
In the early days, some of you might still remember, the Nerve system worked a little differently. Instead of every point bringing you new things, Noe would unlock all new tiers for everything all at once every 4 points. That meant that in reality, we could hand out Nerve points for big decisions in scenes where Noe would take steps that changed her tolerance for… let’s call them “special tactics” as a polite collective term… but we didn’t have to layer in new swaths of gameplay as we were trying to kick off the early game. The downside: That meant only points 4, 8, 12 and 16 of all 20 points meant anything, which… It sucks, really. So we changed it. Now every point from 1-20 each earn you more to find in the gameplay. Righting that early wrong, or in other words, filling those sudden holes we found ourselves with, has been the goal of the gameplay for a long time. I think now’s a good time to take a look at some of my very own design docs in progress to show you some visual progress.
v0.22 Progress – May 2025
v0.26.1 Progress – December 2025
This here is a quick look to see what state the Restaurant Manager is at a glance, and also a look at how much progress has been made this year in just these last 4 versions. I’ve been focusing on filling out those red holes, and in future I plan to start turning a lot of them green before turning the next phase of blue blocks into yellows and greens as well.
I’ll save a deeper discussion of this point for the Roadmap, but now that the content direction is up to the fans for a while, my focus will be on shaping up the first half of the game. Ideally, Lv1-3 gameplays should cover the first 6 months in-game, and by the time we’ve got those blocks turned mostly green well be content ready and able to set a lot of the early content in stone. As it stands now, a lot of the scenes’ unlock conditions reflect the state of the game and the debt reduction rate of the time it was put into the game and not the current state. Some arcs are easier to unlock than others, and I’m going to reshape a lot of this as well as balance out the Nerve points to be fairer too.
Right now would be a good chance for another look behind the curtain, since we’re talking about gameplays. Something I wonder to myself a lot is if the player is wondering how the Hell Noe is doing to get her debts down to 0 by the end of the game? At this point, with about 10 months of in-game time, it’s only possible to get it down to about $80,000-85,000, so how’s that going to suddenly fall to 0? Simply put, it isn’t.
I’ve been closely keeping my eye on the debt obliteration states of each version, tracking my own play data every version as I playtest the game. Right now my goal isn’t to get Noe’s debt to 0 (ideally in 12 months), but to get to a nice round fraction of 100,000. I’d love it if it did eventually hit 0 naturally, but I’m also trying to keep the girls’ earnings somewhat (I say loosely) believable as well. Making $5000 a day in tips is a bit… silly, and that’s before a tax inspector sees, ha. But with Noe hitting $80,000 by 10 months is a good, healthy sign of the game balance I try to keep on top of. Let me show you:
This is my playtest data for the versions this year, all graphed (not including v0.26.1’s additions). As you can see, with each version, even adding outcomes that don’t directly, or only partially, add tip money to the working girls, it still moves the average earnings up and Noe’s debt down. Adding content to Kriem, Kelsey and Frankie’s arcs does mean more times Noe has to give them the chance to earn tip cash instead, which is why v0.24 is higher up than v0.23 (my theory at least), but it’s all going in the right direction. Getting to $75,000 by a year’s end should be doable with even the content we have now. Remember, as we add Lv4’s, the potential for daily earnings from the midgame on essentially doubles, and with Lv5’s it doubles again. This means reaching $67,000 or even as low as $50,000 with some change to spare should be achievable. All that needs doing then is to slap a nice x2, x3 or whatever multiplier we need to any/all earnings and finally Noe can breathe free one day! Hooray! Normalizing out the requirements for scenes will come after, though as mentioned above there’s room to do some of that in the first half of the game sooner too.
TL;DR - The long and the short of it all is this: So far with only Lv1-3 content, the game balancing is looking fit and healthy. I’m still working on strengthening the foundations that are those first 3 levels, making the Nerve unlocks fairer, then strengthening the flow of the game that those levels and Nerve hold up, which is mostly content complete scene wise these days too. I’m happy with where things are at, if always wanting more, and sure that despite the times it looks a little chaotic from the outside that the method to the madness is getting us to a great game experience down the line. That’s why I say the state of the gameplay is good and getting better.

Noe’s Days Off
This side of the coin is an interesting one indeed. To many it may seem like this part of the game has been far from my mind for a long time, and I’ll admit that it has been underserved for some time, but I’m always keeping an eye on it.
This year we finally made enough progress to add the last of the activities to the board, and with it each of Team Noe’s girls can have their 3 work stats raised at will now. Between that, having the ability to tie the narrative storytelling closer to the scenes by launching them on days off, giving Noe her outlet for stress relief as needed and a chance to earn some cash when it’s not instead, really this part of the gameplay loop has reached the state it has everything we need. What it doesn’t yet have is everything we want.
Right now this part of the gameplay is at a flat 40% implemented, content wise. Every activity in every mode has 4 links in its chain already. It doesn’t take a math wiz to tell the goal is to get them all to 10 by v1.0, but compared to the need and impact of restaurant gameplay additions as outlined above it should be obvious as to why extra storytelling fun here is the lower priority. With 68 CGs to find across all 17 options and variations, and given Noe has 2 days off a week, about 104 in a year (~86 in v0.26.1’s 10 months), there’s plenty of time and chances to find it all for now in a single playthrough. Once we get that up more, the player will actually have to be considerate in their choices, as it won’t be possible to get all chains complete in 1 in-game year of playing. That’s a flaw in my design I’m not able to fix without redesigning the whole game, but alas, we live and learn as we go.
I still plan on giving Noe’s days off extra stuff to enjoy in 2026 to keep it from going too stale, but beyond that there’s not much to say about this side. We’re not close enough to 100% yet to think about adding more options for Noe to let loose (ex. Clubbing on her own, not just training Frankie, or some way to increase her Competitiveness on a Wednesday), but we can indeed have more fun with what we’ve got. I simply hope you all enjoy the different kinds of content, both fetish kinds (like tattooing and yoga voyeuring) and the slice-of-life style encounters for Noe outside of her work. Let’s keep filling her up and having fun with it!

And there we are, that’s pretty much the state of the gameplays for NTR, as of this day. A technical read, I’m sure, but to those who this kind of discussion appeals, I hope it’s been an interesting and enlightening post. Usually, I try to keep this level of thought to myself, not wanting to weight the player’s experience down by thoughts of how the technicals will eventually deliver the promised payoff, but perhaps for some it will increase the confidence in things to come. Perhaps this time next year we can return, see the state of the gameplay by the end of 2026 and see in stark terms just what progress has been made with a full year of NTR. There’s little more that I like than progress and goals being met after all, and what I do like more is Team Noe and boobs anyway, muhaha!
So here’s to all the gains we’ve made this year, here’s to NTR taking as pleasurable shape as the woman who’s name it bears, and here’s to next year making everything look even better than it is today! Until we’ve made an even better gaming experience of this…
