Happiest of Valentine’s Day, to all the wildest ones out there in this at times wonderful world! To all the happy couples, the down and dirty ones, the swinging sexy singles and those lover of love, one and all! We wish you all the best on this day for heart-shaped feelings!

This year, we wanted to explore a little outside the usual, and outside the biggest relationship that our world revolves around a lot of the time. For a wide beWilderverse though, it’s kind of funny that we’ve got many solo sweeties but only a few loving couples, and most of those have had shall we say “challenges” (read infection-inspired lethal accidents and illicit affairs on the side) beset them. So this year we’re looking at a coupling that could have been… and maybe… could yet be if the cards fall in a dangerous way.

Have you ever seen the Romantic Classic, “Sliding Doors”? Where 1 simple, seemingly insignificant event can create a whole other life down the line? Well, this is “Sliding Stores”, as imagine if you will, Salvatore’s Deli decided to open up on Easy Street but 1 year earlier.

It might well have been, even likely perhaps, that Larson and Frankie would have spent their last anniversary visiting the new Salvatore’s instead of the charming place across the street. After her divorce, memories of that night would lead her to Sal’s looking for work, not Noemi’s. Without a new friend, even friends if you count Kriem and Kelsey, to help rebuild her shattered self, she’d be an easy lump of clay for Sal himself to mould as his own. That one simple difference could have made this a real sight on Easy Street. Maybe some choice or bit of trouble that may yet happen could cascade until Little Toscana crumbles, and above could yet be Sal and Frankie’s future and not an alternative present? Who’s to say...?
