Spook’s Progress Posting #34 – Handle with Care (Patreon)
Content
Hey, hey! Welcome back wild ones, to another post of progress! Has it really been almost a week already since our last? Seems so. This week was quite the compact one, so it seems to have flown on by, but there’s a lot of progress made in that short time to tell about, perhaps even a surprising amount, so let’s get to reportin’!
With Saint Paddy’s Day making it a 3-and-a-half day weekend, and with last Saturday becoming a full on work day to my own surprise, this week ended up being squeezed into a 3-day run, so as to not start stealing from next week to pay this one, you see? Even so, with Friday turned to a full art day rather than to keep up with Post work / texts this time, here’s what we got for the time since last post:
Goal: At least 25 CGs, to break the back of Scene 3 and get us within 1 week’s potential for completing the remaining artworks needed.
Accomplished: 32 new CGs! Unlike most weeks, they’re not all or mostly Post-Produced (about half), but we’re now closing in on the big 100% for our art bars fast!
It sure was a full-on week despite the holidays, and with 32 of the outstanding 64 CGs knocked over, I’m feeling confident that next week will see us to the completion of the hardest part of any version. Let’s see the bars then! They’re a callin’!
This week was all about the art so that next week can see the end we’re looking for and take us right into the last of the texts and the testing. I’m hoping by the end of March to have 3 of those 5 bars topped out once again and only be needing a few days to get the rest of them to the promised lands too. I’d say it’s getting more and more likely our window for release shifts forward, which would be awesome, but let’s keep on working away as is until that proves itself true.
[From This Point On, Beware of Potential SPOILERS]

Still here? Then y’all must not be scared of spoilers… Well done! For your bravery and wildness, I have… well not a whole lot to chat about production this week. Just kept the nose to grindstone and kept going. There is something interesting in the scene I’ve been working on that links with the last, as I got to contrast a certain something going on across different girls and different moods, which was something of an experience. That may sound cryptic now, but you’ll get what I mean once you see it. To tell would be too spoilery even for warnings!
But here’s something I can let y’all in on…
… With how things have been going for poor Brad in the last few teases, is it such a jump to think he might get his own back? But, fella, be warned! When you play with the heart of an already damaged girl, you’d better be ready for what shit you’re stirring to splatter back if you’re not careful!

Misc News
Just a little more news from around the page before we start looking ahead again. “My Novel Summer” continues to shape up in hopes of shipping out soon, or at least a damn good first look at things in the coming weeks. For now we hope you’ll enjoy this repolished logo for the game as we keep this simmering on the back burner just a touch longer.
The Week Ahead
Next week is all about getting the last 20% of the art here and in our hands. That’ll be the goal for the first half and a bit of the week, giving us a day or maybe 2 to catch up on the Post work that was passed on for this week. If there’s time found in there, I’d like to use it to get the in-engine test of Scene 1 done so we can clear that completely before we enter the last crunch week on the run to release. So that’s 32 more CGs on the target list, let’s go gett’em!
So that was the week that was #34! The shortest week of my art career but still a big providing one, hoo-rah! Just 1 more business as usual week to go before we’re into the release countdown again, I can’t wait, but until it’s here…
Be careful handling fragile goods and beWilder!
