A wobbly groan left my lips as I sat down in front of my PC. Not without help, I have to say. In my current state, I was barely walking straight. To call myself sluggish would be an understatement. That feeling from the very morning when you first open your eyes and have barely any will and strength to exist? Yeah, pretty much that, paired with a pinch of drowsiness to spice the concoction up.

And how had I ended up like that?

Consequences of my own actions, as some would say.

Taking not one but two doses of Levia’s physical stimulants in a short period, mixed with plenty of other potions, didn’t make things too pretty in a department or two. But, it had all been necessary to wrap up our last Assignment successfully. And more importantly, without anyone being seriously hurt.

So yeah, if it meant that I would be able to fight off a whole sea of Skeletons while trying to figure out the secret behind the evil Witch-turned-flying-carpet, I was definitely going to do it again. But, in the future, maybe I would think of the side effects a little more, employing the help of my two lovely Bonded ladies to alleviate some of them ahead of time through necessary physical discharge. They had already made it clear that they were more than willing to assist me with anything.

And those two incredible women were doing so even right now, with the tall and muscular drakan keeping me steady in my chair while the shorter and more petite lunar elf hurried to the kitchen to bring two chairs for themselves. Personally, I would have switched their delegated tasks, but when it came to my well-being, Aisha took her role as my first mate very seriously, not afraid to order the extremely understanding Levia around.

I still wondered what I had done to deserve such fine life companions.

The blue-skinned lady bravely dragged both chairs to our spot and set them on my sides, immediately taking one while the horned Berserker plopped down on the other. Their concerned gazes roved over my features and I offered them a slightly awkward but appreciative smile.

Aisha grazed my cheek with her strong palm as she peered deep into my eyes. “Are you still able to think clearly? We’ll need that smart brain of yours to work properly if we are to do this. Maybe we really should try to relieve you at least a little?”

Snorting softly, I squeezed her hand. “I’m good. Only my body seems to be half-awake thanks to Levia’s nifty trick. Just lend me your shoulder and I’ll lend you my head.”

Judging by the brief flicker of a smirk at the cusp of her lips, she really wanted to make a likely dirty quip, but for my sake, she valiantly held it back and only nodded tenderly. I was really grateful for that. It would be good to avoid unnecessary stimulation until we are out of these deep waters.

“Okay. Don’t be afraid to let me know when you feel like you can’t take it anymore.” She placed a quick peck on my forehead and glanced between me and Levia. “I know we are tight on time. What are we going to do?”

I turned to the screen ahead of us and grasped the mouse. “There are less than twelve hours on the clock. I’m beat, but thankfully you two are fairly fine. There’s not much time to make preparations or take a short rest. We are facing the possibility of having only one go at this. Two would be the upper limit, assuming we stumble on something important that requires us to come back and pick up stuff without which clearing this task would be otherwise impossible. So, in case that does happen, let’s say we have up to an hour to get ready. Starting with recruiting a new friend, I think.”

Levia’s slender fingers squeezed my thigh reassuringly. “I am aware that this might appear fast to you, but I agree with your observations. Another ally would make this uncertain delve much safer. If there are any useful Classes in our current pool, that is.”

“No surprise you read my mind perfectly.” I offered her a little wink. “Let’s leave this for later as it’s one of the simplest decisions, no matter how hard it might feel to pick a character to join the party. First, we need to establish what we know about the map. Anything either of you could share from your past experiences?”

“It’s going to stink like hell.” Aisha scrunched her nose. “It always takes weeks to wash off the smell after swampy Dungeons. I’m not looking forward to trying to court you with the natural musk of the stinkiest Goblin.”

“While I have to agree with you on the smell part, I think Lucas meant any monster and hazardous environment-related experiences.” Levia sighed delicately. “We will need to be careful about any bodies of water. As hinted in the description, they usually are filled with acidic substances that can be extremely harmful to entities not accustomed to their presence. For any accidental splashes or brief contact, I should be able to remedy the burns with my concoctions.”

“Great. Then there’s the big bad. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it kinda sounds like we are against a Werewolf or something.” I made a quick search through the Wiki to see if anyone had filled in any data on this particular monster, finding an entry on a normal Wolfen Alpha, without the Blighted part.

“You are correct.” The lithe Witch nodded. “The leader of this pack can be a fairly humanoid bipedal lupine. There’s a chance it’s just a big wolf instead, but it’s low. If it is, then things are easy and we should have no issues dispatching the entire pack. But, if we are up against a Werewolf…”

“We’ll need silver.” Our Berserker clicked her tongue. “Their hide is tougher than stone. It’s a pain in the ass. And that quality gets shared with the entire pack if it has assumed the position of an alpha. Magic works well against their defenses so your witchy lover should be able to carry our asses most of the time, but my axe and hammer can go cry in the corner.”

“Which means, I’ll be even more useless than I already am.” I rubbed my eyes tiredly. “Do we need to quickly get new weapons, then? Or are there other ways to combat this?”

“Pure silver gear is a fucking money dump.” Aisha directed an unhappy glance my way. “I know we should prioritize safety, but… I really hate the thought of wasting like half of our savings on one axe. The bigger the equipment, the worse it gets.”

“I assume our salty trick but with Holy Water won’t work here?” I raised a hopeful brow at our wisest member.

“No, it will not affect them at all. They are not undead or other unholy abominations. It is more like a magical disease so only magic and mana-compatible metals can disrupt it. Silver is one of the cheapest options, and as Aisha has mentioned, that does not mean cheap.” Levia met my eyes briefly before staring off into the distance. “But, I might be able to prepare something quickly. I need to consult my inventory and equipment. It should not take long.”

“So, it is pretty much the same as I knew from my training. Thank you.” I slid my hand underneath hers gently. “We’ll go together in a moment. That way, I’ll be able to quickly get what you might be missing. Aisha should be able to scan through the recruitment options in the meantime. Do you think you can handle that, love?”

At my challenging smirk, the proud draconic female puffed out her gorgeous chest. “Who do you think I am? It’s the first mate’s responsibility to select the proper future members of the male’s harem. Leave it to me and have fun in the back of that workshop.”

Rolling my eyes at her obvious teasing, I shared an amused look with Levia. We both knew our mischievous friend would take it seriously after being left alone. She might be preaching about her roles and such, but she would never prioritize anything like that over the integrity of our party.

Besides, it wasn’t like she could evaluate those potential members in any area other than their Class, Stats, and Name. No judging by looks or character as we had no idea about those until the very first moment the chosen person graced us with their presence. To some extent, it felt even worse than gacha. There, you at least had an inkling about who you could get.

“We’ll do just that.” I chuckled lightly in response. “This leaves us with one last thing before we split up to take care of our respective tasks.”

“Which is?” She tilted her head at me curiously.

“The Skills we gained on the recent level-up. We both hit fifteen while Levia jumped to eleven. I’ve seen a notification or two but we dismissed them earlier since we wanted to enjoy our time together. It would be smart to have a quick glance before we dive into another battle,” I explained.

“Oh, right. Everything happened so fast that I already forgot. If not for the damned Emergency Assignment, you would already be balls deep in us.” Aisha grimaced to the side before taking a deep breath and refocusing on the technicalities. “Okay, hit me. Let’s get this over with. We deserve a break after the last clear. You deserve a bigger break after the last stunt you pulled.”

“I have to agree with her on that.” Levia graced me with that heartwarming tiny smile of hers. “You have overstressed your body with those stimulants, potions, and physical feats. If the situation requires it, I shall become unyielding about you taking it easy after we finish too. You do not want both of us joining forces on you, do you?”

Seeing the growing grin on my drakan lover’s lips, I could only swallow heavily.

I would be in deep trouble if even the gentle Levia were to switch sides.

“Here it goes, then.” I hastily turned to the monitor. “Let’s start with you.”

Navigating into the correct menu, I brought up the old notifications and scrolled until we reached the part we had previously ignored. Then, I simply tapped on the part related to our talented Witch so we could focus on each person individually.

Class Ability Unlocked: Dealer’s Hand (F)

★━━━━━━━━━━★

“You already have something called Dealer’s Flick, right?” I asked after we saw the name of the new ability. “Are these related?”

“To some extent, yes. I am glad to already have it back. It must be thanks to the quality of the arcanas we created together. Normally, I would need much more practice for my body and spiritual circuits to reach the necessary proficiency needed to handle skills of moderate magical complexity,” Levia answered calmly. “The description should illustrate what this is for.”

So, I made it show up.

Dealer’s Hand (F)

Condensing mana in your fingers, you can make your skin magically adhesive to any cards bearing a mark of your energy, allowing you to proficiently wield more of them in one hand. Combined with Quick Draw and Instant Draw, it effectively doubles your output, which further rises alongside the proficiency in this ability, making it much easier to fuse compatible spells together.

“Wow, an ability that explicitly combines your other skills to make them even better. Those are rare.” Aisha whistled in awe. “Meanwhile, I usually have to get creative with the use of mine to create useful combos.”

“This is both a blessing and a curse of focusing on my arcanas,” Levia replied. “Ignoring the fact that I shall soon be entering an unknown territory in regards to future skills and abilities since I had started practicing this path late in my previous life, many of those related to the mystical cards revolve specifically around them and their use. Therefore, I will be considered lacking in terms of other, more common magical arts, spells, and so on. Nevertheless, I shall do whatever I can not to become a defective Witch, which would make our master’s important choice of summoning me for my Class rendered effectively pointless.”

I plopped a hand on top of her lush white hair. “You already have so many powerful Witch skills and spells. And your arcanas make you so much more versatile and effective. I don’t think I will ever regret giving you an opportunity to follow this mystical path. Don’t forget that I encouraged you to do it too.”

“And considering this guy’s instincts, you are going to turn out way better this way.” Aisha smirked knowingly, giving me a somewhat enamored smile. “My turn?”

Without further ado, I brought up her notification.

General Ability Unlocked: Call of the Dragon (F)

★━━━━━━━━━━★

“Fucking finally!” She pumped her fist victoriously before grabbing my face with both hands and ferociously assaulting my lips with hers. “Thank you so much!”

“Easy there!” I laughed as she drowned me in kisses. “What’s the deal with it? It’s not even a Class ability.”

“Because it’s my racial ability!” Aisha grinned happily. “Far, far, far connection with Dragons, remember? This lets me call upon those ancestral ties to further enhance myself for a while! More importantly, it makes every drakan feel powerful! You can easily get addicted to it!”

“I can not imagine how much more insufferable you could get with your Berserk and that ability enabled at the same time,” Levia commented, earning herself a slightly crazed giggle in response.

“It’s not that bad! I can control it much better! Besides, Lucas will be there to rein me in, no?” The fierce lady batted her pretty eyelashes at me and I could only shake my head while bringing up the description.

Call of the Dragon (F)

Reaching deep into your core, you can draw out your latent lineage and call for the strength, vitality, and resilience of the legendary Dragons. While active, your scales become almost as tough as Dragon scales, your body grows as hot as an active volcano, and your muscles become capable of snapping boulders in half. Be warned that the cost of such power isn’t low, though.

“This is available only once a day at the starting level,” I mused. “It’s like your ultimate.”

“It is an ultimate skill for any drakan!” She kept shaking in her seat from excitement. “I can’t wait to show you! It’s not just my scales or muscles, even my tail turns into a real weapon, not some tender club!”

“Can you breathe fire?” Levia asked, intrigued at least a little.

Aisha’s sunny expression soured a tiny bit. “No, unfortunately not. This might make me like a Dragon, but I would still be a poor imitation. It’s pretty much impossible for me to gain a proper Dragon Breath that wouldn’t be nothing more than a puff of flame when compared to the original.”

I reached out for one of her horns and brought our foreheads together firmly. “There’s nothing fake about these to me. Some overgrown lizards can do nothing more than hide in the shadow of your ferocity, flame breath or not. It’s just party tricks anyway. You possess the true heart of a Dragon right here.”

My other hand pressed onto her chest, right between those alluring peaks of hers, and I swear I saw her cheeks color a little as I peered deep into her eyes. But, I didn’t get to verify that as Aisha softly locked our lips together in a passionate kiss. We shared a silent moment before she pulled back with a smile.

“You should not say things like that when you are like this…” she whispered while biting her bottom lip. “It’s getting really hard to hold back, you know?”

Clearing my throat, I went after the last ability, mine.

Class Ability Unlocked: Overlord’s Presence (F)

★━━━━━━━━━━★

The three of us shared a look. This one we could hardly speculate about from the name. Obviously, none of us knew anything about it from our pasts either. Well, save for some possible rumors or such the girls could have possibly overheard here and there during their lives. So, I didn’t wait and checked the explanation.

★━━━━━━━━━━★

Overlord’s Presence (F)

Wherever you go, your superiority follows, and all the lesser beings should be aware of it. You exude an aura related to the domain of your mastery for all to know what spiritual realm you rule over.

An Overlord of Lust commands attention from the opposite gender without fail. Your mere presence will turn heads, your appearance invoke intrigue, and your pleasant scent encourage hidden desires. But, be wary that not all attention is good attention.

The aura can be turned on and off at will.

“Damn! Maybe this is the actual reason!” Aisha cackled while slapping me on the back. “As if you already didn’t have it easy getting girls with how charming you are!”

“Lucas?” Levia peered at me from the side, making the laughing beauty realize that I was deep in thought, rubbing my chin ponderingly.

“If we ignore the silly meaning of this bullshit, this can actually be of use,” I noted.

“How?” The drakan lady gradually tamed her snickering, still grinning widely.

“It says all so that would mean it works on monsters too. At least those that do have gender or biological bodies. If you look at it from a different angle, this is basically a flavored taunt skill. Turning it on at the right moment, I can cause a decent distraction if the group we are facing consists at least partially of females,” I summarized my thought process.

“It’s just like you to try and weaponize something like this.” She snorted. “But, I’m glad you aren’t letting this get to you like in the past. You know, the whole indecent theme to your Class and everything not so nice about Overlords.”

I offered her a small smile. “Doing my best. Treating this as just another skill to use against our enemies helps. And having people to protect that I care about does too. Though, I don’t think I’m ever going to enable this one with you around. Lucas Junior would like to live a little longer before achieving retirement, thank you very much.”

“You punk!” Aisha hit me in the shoulder with her fist, and a quiet, adorable chuckle reached our ears from the side.

The two of us exchanged smiles and turned to our lovely friend.

“Go and get that bastard away from me, elf, before I break him in half. And not in the nice way.” She smirked at Levia. “You two work those brains of yours while I scout for our new partner.”

“As you wish, drakan. Do not laze around. Or order more food without informing us,” the petite girl countered and Aisha grasped her heart in mock shock.

We were off our chairs before she could bite back, walking towards the entrance to Levia’s lab. Her fingers found mine and we crossed the border hand in hand, sharing this tiny sign of affection with just as much meaning as anything else I did more openly with Aisha. We got separated only after reaching the furthest counters.

She got to work right away so I stepped back and gave my talented Witch as much space as she needed. Levia glided from place to place, checking various shelves and cupboards. She had also brought out a massive grimoire I had only seen glimpses of before. From what I could tell, she was filling the book with her knowledge of the past as a way to keep the memories related to her craft fresh.

It took fifteen minutes before she stopped in front of a row of ingredients, potions, and other trinkets with her arms crossed over her chest. Since she was still wearing the black hoodie from our outing, it looked rather cute and nerdy as she thought deeply about the problem.

Slowly, I approached her from behind and wrapped an arm around her lithe waist. “What’s the verdict?”

“Almost everything substantial would take time which we do not have,” she began with her usual, neutral tone. “I should have prepared were-specific poison ahead of time, but I have not, so that is out of the equation. Weapon oils require at least three days of idle aging in a cool environment. That leaves us only with possible enchantments. Amongst those, there is one that would fit our circumstances.”

“I sense a but there…” I chew on my cheek lightly.

“It is a ritual that blesses the selected gear with qualities mirroring those of processed silver in regards to magical conductivity. But, the main requirement is quite hard to acquire, therefore sometimes even more expensive than the silver weapons. It will not work without virgin blood,” Levia explained.

I tried to hide my wince. “Perhaps we have gotten too hasty with dismissing that side of your magic.”

The short lady daintily spun around and embraced me with a soft hug, resting her forehead in the crook of my neck. “We could not have predicted this outcome. I do not regret our first coupling, nor the following ones. The feelings you share with me during our moments of passion warm not just my body but also my heart. It is something I do not wish to get rid of ever.”

“Neither do I, of course.” I brushed my fingers through her long hair. “I’m honored that such a lovely woman finds me desirable. But, not even with your Cartomancy?”

She shook her head. “We used it just recently, and even received an extended reading. Too many attempts in a short span of time can lead to inaccurate readings. It would most likely not have changed anything.”

“So there’s no use giving it a try before going into the Dungeon either.” I sighed quietly, blowing some of her hair with my breath. “Well, anyway, there’s no point in speculating about what we can’t influence anymore.”

“I would advise against it for the moment,” Levia replied. “Besides…”

I let her step back and she peered up at me from slightly below with the first hints of a subtle smirk at the corner of her mouth.

“The term virgin blood does not signify the blood of someone with their biological virginity intact, but one from a person previously uninvolved in any acts of magic and rituals,” she explained with her small hands joined behind her back. “It is a common misconception from non-magical folks altering the phrase into the blood of a virgin on their own.”

I gaped at her for a good minute, noticing the faintest trace of a sly spark in her violet eyes.

“You little minx!” I set my fists on my hips angrily.

Levia spun around to escape my playful ire but I could tell she did that to hide the foxy smile taking over her adorable face, so uncharacteristic of her usual, cold nature.

She got me, I ain’t gonna lie.

The tiny peek she gave me over her shoulder only confirmed that I had been had.

“So, I assume it’s still going to work with what I was going to suggest, which is asking our newly summoned friend for help since the System recreates their bodies on the spot,” I said while moving closer and hugging Levia from behind.

“Correct.” She nodded, leaning comfortably against me. “This should not count as their first ritualistic experience. Especially since their blood is not necessary to invoke it. I knew you would think of this solution quickly.”

“Don’t make it sound like you haven’t gotten to that conclusion way ahead of me.” I smirked at her proud glance. “Do we have what we need, then?”

“Yes, besides the blood, everything else is in my possession.” The smart Witch roved her mesmerizing eyes over the prepared stuff, which I now understood had been related to the ritual from the very beginning.

Not gonna lie, it felt entertaining being outsmarted like this.

“We should not waste time, then. Unless you have more tricks to play on me.” I pulled my arms away and stood next to her.

“No. I do not,” Levia replied, that faint shadow of a smirk still visible. “For now.”

Chuckling to myself, I led us back to the apartment. There were no mountains of sushi boxes on top of my desk so it seemed that Aisha had taken her mission seriously. She waved us over the moment we emerged from the door on the far side of the kitchen and we obliged.

“I narrowed it down to these three.” She pointed to the screen with her thumb. “There were no healers around this time, unfortunately. I have assumed you don’t want to wait for one to pop up with the next shuffle.”

“It’s alright. Levia’s magic and concoctions will do for now. But, we could use someone sturdy if so.” I said, retaking my seat, with Levia hopping into my lap silently.

Aisha squinted at her before refocusing on me. “I guessed as much and used that as a basis for my picks. Take a look. I’m not exactly familiar with all of these Classes, but they feel adequate.”

I did as requested and examined the current pool in its entirety first. As she had said, there were no useful medical Classes around. The selection was dominated by ranged dealers, which was a decent pick, but a tank would be much better. Aisha had tagged the trio that fit such a role rather well.

The first one was a Crusader. It was a variant of a Paladin, and I knew she must have been extremely reluctant to even offer this one her attention. Yet, even with her dislike of the bearers of these Classes, Aisha had put our best interest above her resentment and highlighted a potentially useful ally.

A woman to love with all your heart.

The second one was a Warrior. Not an explicit defensive Class, but it could be guided toward that role as one of the most customizable choices due to it being a baseline one. Though, it depended on the owner. It could prove difficult to change their mind if they insisted on following the same route as before, relying on dual wielding for example.

Then, there was the Armorer.

“I have no idea if this one is some kind of a craftsman or what, but it has armor in its name so I added it to the list as a filler.” Aisha shrugged casually. “From what we got, I can tell that the Crusader fits the best. They like big shields, flails, and heavy armor. We wouldn’t have too much work with her from the start. Plus, holy chicks are quite hot, aren’t they?”

I placed a hand on her shoulder and gave it a reassuring squeeze. “It’s alright. Unity is a crucial element of team building. And you can’t achieve proper unity without the right atmosphere. I’m not going to introduce a member who I know might potentially ruin the harmony we have already achieved here. Though, I appreciate your willingness to sacrifice your comfort for us.”

The relief that passed through her tensed muscles was more than obvious, even though she tried to hide it behind a controlled nod. “What is it going to be, then?”

“I can see one almost perfect option, however also a bit of a gamble,” I said, scratching my head. “There are two Classes that often get mistaken for each other, the Armorer and the Armorsmith. The words themselves might technically mean the same, but here, they are not. An Armorer is someone who puts all their work in a suit of armor and their abilities revolve around it. They are a tinkerer that can turn their armor into an impenetrable defense, or unstoppable offense at will. In the long run, they can become quite powerful and also versatile, depending on what alterations they introduce to their equipment.”

“That does sound interesting,” Levia admitted. “What is the gamble here?”

“We might find ourselves with an Armorer dead set on making their suit the stealthiest gear in the world, and like with all passionate craftsmen and artists, it would be close to impossible to change their mind.” I snickered. “But, something similar might happen with the Warrior so I think we can try our luck here. In the end, it’s still better than ending up with another pure physical fighter in our squad.”

“So far, your luck has gotten us everywhere.” Aisha snorted enthusiastically. “Will they be willing to wear a pre-made armor from the rewards? You made it sound like they could consider anything other than their own creation beneath them.”

“They will have to. Everyone has to start somewhere.” I tapped my fingers over the desk. “What are your votes, team?”

“I’m in.” She grinned at me, the tip of her tail starting to sway from excitement.

“I believe this to be the correct decision within these circumstances.” Our Witch friend was on board too. “Let us proceed. The sooner I get the virgin blood we need, the earlier I can finish setting up the ritual to enchant our weapons.”

The fierce Berserker raised a brow at her, then poked me in the side. “Go on! Show us the lucky lady!”

Shaking my head, I went through all the steps and spent the hard-earned token on our new member.

Same as always, the ominous, black formation stained the floor as we watched it do its job. All of us knew what to expect, so the blinding darkness didn’t catch us unawares, and we avoided the unnecessary discomfort. After the glow subsided, we saw the shadows begin uncovering a lithe woman.

Right away, I could tell that she would be the shortest Defender in our group. With Aisha being a tall and busty goddess, especially with her horns, Levia reached perhaps to my nose, more or less. The figure materializing in front of us scored even lower on the height exam, though it felt different at the start due to something long and thin gathering the black energy above what turned out to be the top of her head.

First of all, she was red.

Like full juicy scarlet, all over. It was such a contrast with Levia’s light blue skin.

That made her short, stormy hair stand out even more with its deep black shade. Slightly sharpened ears poked out of that fierce mane, similar to Aisha’s in terms of size, so not that different from mine, save for the lacking roundness. They extended more to the back, though, kinda like elf ones.

Her face was already refined and warrior-like with an obvious trace of piercing femininity, but the two spots where her fringe was split by a pair of vertical extensions coming straight from her forehead only made her look even wilder.

Yep. Those were horns. Long, thin, curling right at the base and then going straight up, also red and splattered with black at the insanely sharp tips.

The danger to my vision had doubled in the span of a few seconds. If both she and Aisha somehow ended up together in my bed, I would need to start wearing protective glasses.

Additionally, the fact that with her head ending up slightly over the line of my shoulders those deadly spikes stopped right at the level of my eyes did not help in the slightest, no matter how incredibly badass it was.

Nevertheless, for a brief moment, I was wondering if we hadn’t summoned a relative of a certain lust imp the three of us knew, but the person in front of us lacked the obvious features, like the tail, and had a few additional ones, like the horns. Plus, this girl looked a tad more mature and elegant, like a short, petite princess with lean but filled curves and feminine charms. You could tell she was no slouch in regards to physical effort, but not to an extent that could rival Aisha’s musculature.

And neither the chest department.

She was more pronounced than Levia in that area, but still more or less below our well-endowed Berserker. The thin black underwear she had been granted by the rebirth couldn’t do anything to hide the pleasant plumpness of her front. One’s hands might not be enough to cover it fully in the event of a wardrobe malfunction.

Then, she made that bust rise and fall with a deep breath and her eyes fluttered open. They gleamed like molten amber while examining us carefully. Her shiny irises were adorned with savage vertical pupils, so regal yet also intense.

When her gaze wandered onto Aisha, the grinning Berserker raised a hand in greeting.

“Yo! You a virgin?”

A loud smack traveled throughout the room as I slapped my forehead hard.

We were off to a great start.

★━━━━━━━━━━━━Author's Notes━━━━━━━━━━━━★

And here we are again! We were supposed to be there last weekend as a nice start of the month, but all the Easter stuff got a bit tough. Now, we will remain here at least once a week :) A big starting chappy as usual. I'll have some pic refs for you next time if you wish to picture our new friend better. We have yet to learn of their identity, though some of you might be able to figure out what they are on your own.

When they were talking about the possibility of a werewolf, you used the word 'vulpine', but vulpines are foxes. I think you meant 'lupine' (the grey wolf's genus/species is 'canis lupus', while the red fox is 'canis vulpes').

I bet Levia learning sleight of hand and card tricks is gonna become a nasty combo with these card skills
