Glad to see this story coming back. I’m not sure how to feel about Grea. I loved her in the first book when I thought she was significantly older, and therefore was never going to join the harem. When she did join it, I hated it. On one hand, she makes me profoundly uncomfortable, and I don’t like her character. On the other hand , I understand her trauma, and I know that she’s using the lewdness as a coping mechanism. I recognize that she’s actually very well written and there’s nothing wrong with her characterization at all. I just don’t like her on a personal level. I had just gotten to the point where I could separate that from my ability to enjoy the novel, and now you’re changing her in a way that makes me almost feel like you’re trying to pander to directly to me. It’s so confusing. I’m torn between worrying if you’ve damaged her character, and therefore the narrative cohesion, and the relief I feel it not having to read her acting so abrasive all the time, since it was by far my least favorite part of the series

I enjoyed the chapter and am happy to have you back! I think I like the idea of Grea growing as a person and maturing with her power. It adds a different depth and dimension to a damaged female character and it makes her a little more realistic to me. I mean, Why can't characters grow during a series? Nothing says you can't help then change and develop during the ride.

I enjoyed Grea's character but thought she was a bit excessive at times while they were with others. So I like the direction her character is taking where she will maintain that side of herself but she won't hide behind it anymore.
