Found a sentence that doesn't seem to make sense: *Then, he started increasing the size of his cuts, and after another fifteen minutes, he was able to cover almost his whole body with them.* Ast is cutting into the devourer, but saying he was able to cover his whole body doesn't make sense to me? Is it supposed to be making cuts as large as his whole body? Or is this just me not understanding something here?

re: your AN - yeah this works well I think. Doesn't really feel forced to save space or whatever, the individual lessons are fitting quite well into the actual dungeon space, and the weirdness of the dungeon was a known quantity going in so that alignment doesn't feel jarring. Nicely done :)

Makes sense to train in the dungeon. With how unique it is it’s probably it’s own separate pocket dimension or some such with the portals and all. With him trying to keep is energy under wraps from being traced, it’ll lead to the dungeon and not directly to him. Besides this dungeon is interesting.

And here I was hoping the dungeon arc would be 6ish floors as is followed by a stern talking to the core followed by 6ish reasonable to regular folks floors and a grand opening and returning mentions in future arcs as it grows

I gotta say I love the idea of ast meeting the core and being able to hold a conversation with it somehow and guide it into a more symbiotic state like they discussed earlier in the story so it’s beneficial for both
