I recently experimented with the style, and in my opinion, there seem to be some improvements. I decided to make a poll to see whether it actually looks better or worse, so I don’t end up going in the wrong direction.

They're all doing different poses, so I can't tell what differences are being shown.

I chose 2. Crisper detail with the edge lines of the characters, hair is a bit more defined than Ver 1. However, Ver 1 skin is a bit more natural looking, a bit less shiny than Ver 2, and shadows on skin is less hard edged in Ver 1. Like Albedo Ver 1, skin is 'softer more rounded' than Ver 2, but Ver 2 hair and eyes pop more, and #10 versions, the white trim on her red Santa girl top, much more detailed. I still say 2. 😎

I think 1. They just look more natural. I think 2 is too crisp, too sharp. Almost angular… Also, dear god that Peach set needs to be realized!!
