If you ever wonder about someone's motivation to attack you stop and consider what they may see as what might possibly happen that is against their will and desires. When you can see what that is you can understand their fear and their anger. (Doesn't make their actions right, but they begin to make sense)

I haven't read a book in a while but there's one that really stuck with me. It's "La mort est mon métier" by Robert Merle (I think the translated title would be "Death is my Trade" I'm not sure) and of course any Stephen King novels are 👌🏾
