Hope everyone enjoys this one!  Nothing much to report on my end other than I'm still at work on everything else I need to get done.  Hope to have another post up soon.

Until then, stay safe and thanks for all the support, as always!

Industrious Chapters 21-30

Chapter 21: With Tenten's upcoming graduation, the rest of my erstwhile students had exams scheduled as well, so I'd canceled most of our tutoring sessions. I still met every other day with Yakumo and Satsuki still showed up to buy kunai, shuriken, and wire that I'm sure she didn't really need,...

He now understands Kakashi

godUsoland

Only Sai would give someone that kind of nickname lol

Serdnack

I'm trying to figure out this game he made. Any hints?

Will Keeble

Satsuki, Naruko and Yakumo deciding to work on buffing the rest of the class is a really nice touch.

Darkarma

It sounds like either tic tac toe or chess. Unlikely to be the first since its pretty much universal to all cultures. European/Indian chess seems more likely.

Wildebranch

Haruno Sakurai. Mmmh, if Sakura was flat as a board does that mean that her male counterpart is small dicked?

Whale A

Can't be chess. Too similar to shogi. So it has all the things Kota was railing about in the first place.

Mario Nunez

Why would naruko be into sakurai? Wasn't Naruto into Sakura because he was lonely and thought that getting with a popular girl meant people would like him too?

Vanathor

Could be either Go/Baduk, or maybe some strategy game like Catan.

SirWaddlesworthThe3rd

It was mentioned in an earlier chapter that the game involved 'six-sided tiles' (dice) and cards with pictures cut out of a bingo book. At first I thought it might be something like yugioh, but it also seems to be Kota's response to an inadequacy in shogi as a tactics learning game, so more realistic tactics involved, probably.

Flygar

Butterfly flapping its wings starts a tornado. With his existence, as time flows on, the difference from canon facts becomes exponential. Will be interesting to see if entire Villages are different (like the Mist, since no Obito mind controlling the Mizukage, and even if Kakashi is doing the same, will by default not make all the same decisions as canon-Obito did).

Slayer Anderson

Think of a cross between Settlers of Catan, Magic the Gathering, and a hint of Battletech.

Slayer Anderson

Naruko's still pretty isolated. Basically her only friends are Satsuki, Yakumo, and Kota. She met Sakurai when she and Satsuki grew apart but hadn't run into Yakumo yet.

Jackson Waddle

There is a big difference though in that she has her mother, a brother, and a whole clan. Her situation is very different from canon naruto's.

Slayer Anderson

As hinted at in the interactions with the Uzumaki guard prior to the party, her status in the Uzumaki clan is not entirely well-regarded. There's also a world of difference between one's friends and one's family. Entirely different social dynamic.

Vanathor

If Kota did decided to be a ninja, what would his approach be? Like what would he learn as his preferred skill set?

Esp

With the timing of the rabbit getting sick, I have wondered for a bit if he or someone in Satsuki's family did something to it, or if he deliberately picked an old one. Or maybe she's feeding it wrong. I could imagine her giving it lots of treats like carrots (or tomatoes) and nobody telling her that they need most of their diet to be grass to keep their digestive tract healthy.

Slayer Anderson

He intentionally picked an old one among other factors.
