Because of what we learned about Steele and his family a couple chapters ago, I think he is a longer slow tension filled burn that has him coming to terms with opening himself to another person to care for. I can’t wait for him and Ridley to hopefully bond over their sisters and how they are doing this all to save/take care of them.

I'm VERY clear about wanting more Steele!! That said, he is "layers" exemplified. I think he will ultimately be super passionate, protective and damn sure give Titus a run for his money. But just....not yet...😬😭....maybe.... Also, if Rain doesn't smell Jensen I think his trust will get...wobblier.

For me, given the character of Steele, as much as I would like to see a resolution RIGHT NOW for him, it also would feel kind of cheap. He doesn't trust easily, and still thinks Ridley has something 'up his sleeve,' so to speak. If they do fuck now, it's definitely more of a hate-fuck on his part, because obviously Steele's mad that he still does want Ridley. That said, I don't believe Steele is at his breaking point just yet. I think it will take something of a crisis for Ridley to prove his loyalties before Steele caves. He has way to much self-control otherwise. Now, with all of that being said, if it's still believable with his character so far, I absolutely won't object to a good fuck-fest. If Steele turns him down, but manages to still give Ridley hope in some way, (even unintentionally on his part) I think it's a bit more consistent with his character so far. (Of course Ridley still goes to the other guys to feel better, though.)😜

I go for option three, the tension between Ridley and Steele is too good to be resolved yet. I would however love for Rain to somehow join/stumble over them and maybe learn some truths. I really do not like him kept in the dark.
