Coming Up... (Patreon)

Okay so Friday is my first official oncology appointment. It looks like I'll be able to get the insurance coverage I need to get my surgery, thanks to the financial navigator at the hospital who found me new insurance. Its not a done deal yet, but its a start. Financially, things are still dire but I won't die (at least not from this anyway) It should also help me get my meds for my psoriatic arthritis. Now, obviously, surgery, recovery, reconstruction, possible chemo or radiation is still on the horizon and I'll know more about that Friday.

That being said, I am trying to make a plan to keep my head above water so my career doesn't end up in the trash while I'm recovering. I think while I'm undergoing treatment I'm going to focus on shorter one-off stories like the core-four, poor four, couple stories as well as serial chapters and/or novellas as I can. You guys seem to enjoy revisiting the past couples and honestly, having to plot a novel while my brain feels like jello is not really working. This way I get to keep writing and you guys have stuff to read and hopefully we're both happy until I can go back to cranking out novels full time.

I appreciate everybody hanging with me. As always, this only pertains to me and my writing schedule. Boxes, books, etc are all on the same schedule they've been. We will (and by me I mean poor Shannon) will have a garage full of Barbarian, Psycho and Unhinged sometime next week and then it will be absolute chaos. Thank you for being patient.
