Very unbeta'd/unedited. Like...I haven't even re-read through it. Hopefully it's legible. We're in the home stretch people.

Shiloh

“What if he doesn’t believe me?” Shiloh said. “What if he knows Mal is out of prison?”

They sat on Levi and Nico’s saggy couch, Levi on Shiloh’s left, Mal on his right, Nico at his feet. They were all touching him in some way. Levi squeezed his thigh, Mal was rubbing soothing circles on his back, even Nico was holding Shiloh’s leg like he was just trying to transfer his energy. Shiloh needed it. He needed all that and more.

Everything had sounded so simple last night, surrounded by a bunch of people who killed for fun. But, now, in Levi and Shiloh’s living room, it sounded absurd. If the entire plan hinged on Shiloh, they were doomed. He never did anything right. Ever. Just ask anyone. Hell, even Mal would probably say Shiloh had limited skills with anything.

Mal was dialed in today, or maybe he was simply echoing Nico’s behavior. It was hard to say where Mal’s head was at from moment to moment. Sometimes he seemed hyper-aware of everything, other times he appeared to have checked out of participating in life for the day. Sometimes, he would latch onto a person and simply mimic them, mirror everything about them, like he was just trying on their personality for the day.

Mal already did it with Nico, but it wasn’t the same. It wasn’t his usual stimming or echolalia where he needed to repeat everything he saw. With others it was ‘monkey see, monkey do’ but with Nico, Mal watched him like a cat watched a fish tank, every single thing Nico did delighted Mal and he was already freakishly territorial over him, not even wanting Shiloh to touch him. Even now, his gaze repeatedly dipped to where Nico gently held Shiloh’s leg. That Mal hadn’t brushed Nico’s hands away spoke more to the gravity of the current situation than anything else.

“Relax, doodlebug. It’s gonna be okay,” he said, like someone had pulled a string on his back and that was what he’d been programmed to say.

Mal loved him. Shiloh knew that. Mal loved him in the only ways he knew how. That he tried to comfort him at all showed how much he cared, how much he tried, because Mal didn’t feel things like others, even though he tried. Often the world seemed to confuse him, he found their behavior illogical, their worries silly. He floated through even the worst times by simply shutting off when things were too much and powering back on when they returned to a level he found tolerable. Shiloh hoped Nico didn’t grow bored of how odd Mal was, because Mal had locked in on the golden haired boy and unlike many other neurodivergent people, once Mal found a new obsession, he wouldn’t let it go, no matter how much it squirmed or begged to be released.

Shiloh shook his head, dragging himself from the rabbit hole of his thoughts. Shiloh wanted to believe them when they said it was all going to work out. It’s not that he didn’t trust that the Mulvaney’s knew what they were doing. But historically speaking, statistically speaking even, things never worked out for him. They just didn’t. And even as they all sat there assuring him that this was all finally coming to an end, the voice in the back of his head—Micah’s voice—was laughing at him, at them and their stupid optimism.

They didn’t know Micah like he did. They hadn’t experienced just how far he’d go to hurt Shiloh. He was more than just a sociopath with a math degree. Even if they didn’t see it.

His hands shook as he looked down at his phone, Levi kissed Shiloh’s temple. “All you have to do is call Micah and tell him you found something in my phone. Then your part is done. We’ll take it from there.”

Sure, easy-peasy.

Just call his brother and convince him that he conveniently found a pic of Jericho’s murder cabin in Levi’s phone and convince him to go out there and investigate, preferably alone. Sure, Micah won’t suspect a thing.

“Micah constantly underestimates you, doodlebug. He is such an egomaniac he will never believe that you would dare to double-cross him. Just convince yourself you really did find this information on Levi’s phone and then just tell Micah exactly how you would if it was true.”

Shiloh frowned. “What?”

Nico started bouncing. “No, he’s right. Think of it like role-playing. You’re not setting him up, you really are a spy, you really did find this pic, you really did overhear some conversation dripping with nefarious intent.”

Levi snorted. “Nefarious intent?”

Nico gave him an affronted look. “Is it not?”

Shiloh couldn’t take the stress anymore. He jumped up and began to pace, staring at Micah’s stupid smug photo for a solid minute before he stabbed at the call button, his heart in his throat as he listened to it ring.

Micah answered on the second ring. “If it isn’t my long lost baby brother,” he purred. “I really hope for your sake you have something good to tell me. I’m losing patience.”

A shock of fear rocketed through him leaving his fingers tingling and his mouth tasting of blood. He instantly shrunk in on himself, his voice mousy and quaking. “I-Uh, I think I might have found something,” he said, hurrying to add, “but I’m worried if I send it and its nothing you’ll be mad.”

The whine that escaped was all too real. He really was as pathetic as Micah believed. Hopefully, this would be the one time it worked in his favor.

He listened as Micah blew a breath out through his nose, sending a staticky sound directly into Shiloh’s ear making him flinch. “Well, you’ll never know until you send it, now will you?” Micah asked through gritted teeth, like Shiloh was forever trying his patience.

Shiloh’s insides were shaking and he couldn’t get control of his limbs. “I’m serious. It might be nothing, It has to do with that cabin I mentioned. I-I found something in Levi’s phone, but I’m not sure if I’m imagining things or not. I just don’t know,” he said, he said hurriedly, talking in hushed tones. “I don’t know what’s real anymore.”

“Send it. Now,” he demanded.

“Okay,” Shiloh whispered, attaching the photo with difficulty, then hitting send.

There was a long silence and then Micah said, “It’s just a pin on a map and some coordinates. Are you saying this is the cabin?”

“Maybe? When I looked at it on google maps, there’s a really old photo that shows the roof of a small cabin. I don’t know that it’s the cabin I just overheard them talking about but why else would Levi keep this in his photos?”

“Overheard them talking about what?” Micah asked, ignoring Shiloh’s question.

“Levi was on the phone when I got up this morning, talking to Jericho with his roommate, Nico. They’re supposed to meet at the cabin tonight.Jericho, Levi, Nico, some of their friends and some of the Mulvaney’s, including the one married to the dad.”

“Did you ask Levi where he was going?” Micah asked, sounding far more intrigued than a few moments ago.

“I ran back to bed before he caught me. He said he had to help Jericho deal with a ‘thing’ tonight and wouldn’t be home til late. When I asked if I could go, he said it was too dangerous.”

“Too dangerous.”

Shiloh nodded as if he could see him. “Yeah. I tried to get more information but he said he couldn’t say anything more.”

“Why do you think this cabin is so important, anyway?” Micah asked, suspicious.

Shiloh took a deep breath and let it out. “Because I overheard them jokingly refer to it as the murder cabin.”

Micah barked out a laugh. “The murder cabin? You can’t be serious.”

“I am. They joke about that kind of stuff all the time. They all seem really cool with killing people.”

“I’ll…look into it.”

“O-Okay.”

“If this pans out, maybe you’ll get Mal back sooner than you think.”

Shiloh hesitated, then decided to push, just a little. “You say that like it’s not your decision.”

Micah snorted. “Don’t think, baby brother. Just do what you're told.”

Something suddenly occurred to him then. Something he most definitely would have asked if any of this were real. “You’re-You’re not going to hurt Levi, right? You promised. You said I-” He glanced at Levi, nervous, giving a tremulous smile when he saw the way he looked at him. Like he was important. Like he loved him. “You said I could keep him.”

Micah’s laugh was sinister, sending an icy shiver down his spine. “I’ll keep him alive, doodlebug, but do you really think he’s going to want you after he knows you betrayed him?”

“What?” Shiloh gasped.

Micah’s tone was casually cruel. “I mean, I suppose he might be stupid enough not to put two and two together. He does seem awfully attached…to parts of you anyway.”

“He loves me,” Shiloh blurted.

Another long-suffering sigh. “Baby brother, you aren’t stupid enough to believe that…are you? I suppose you are. You believed the others too. Your legs just fall open every time someone looks at you for too long. It’s embarrassing. I don’t know how you can be a guy and not realize that guys will say anything to get in your pants. If you weren’t putting out, he wouldn’t give you the time of day.”

“That-That’s not true,” Shiloh said, fear swelling behind his ribcage, squeezing his heart. “He doesn’t even care about that.” That wasn’t even the point. “Please don’t tell him about this. Y-You just fo-followed them out there or something. You don’t have to tell him it was me. Please, Micah. Please let me keep him.” The sob that escaped was real. “Please.”

Mal shot a concerned look at Levi, both of them standing. Nico continued to sit, bottom lip trapped between his teeth, watching Shiloh pace a path through their tiny living space.

“Okay, crybaby. Okay,” Micah said softly, like Shiloh wasn’t the only one roleplaying. Like Micah was donning the role of concerned older brother, one that cared for Shiloh’s wellbeing. “If your lead pans out and I get something I can use on the Mulvaney’s, I’ll let you keep your little boyfriend, and I’ll keep your secret. But if he doesn’t want you, if I can’t trust he’ll be loyal to the family, he’s dead. That’s non-negotiable.”

Shiloh sniffled, trying to quell his tears, nodding even though Micah couldn’t see him. “Okay. But he’ll be loyal. He loves me. He really does.”

“I’m sure he does,” he said. “Now, pull yourself together before he wonders why you’re falling apart.”

“Yes, Micah.”

With that he was gone. Shiloh checked to make sure the phone disconnected three times before he just let his legs collapse beneath him, sitting hard on the floor. The other three quickly converged on him, also sitting, Levi dragging him into his arms. “You did so good. You did amazing. Holy fuck you were so believable.”

“He’s right,” Nico said, hugging Levi, squeezing Shiloh between them. “Even I believed you betrayed us.”

Shiloh groaned at the pressure on either side of him, but that didn’t stop Mal from hugging the three of them from the side, though his hand immediately cupped Nico’s neck, rubbing there like he was the one who needed comforting, not Shiloh.

They sat there like that, rocking for a bit before Levi broke free. “I need to let Jericho know we’re a go and that they need to make sure everyone is in place.”

“What time do we leave?” Nico asked, standing when Levi did.

“No.”

They both turned to look at Mal, Nico frowning. “What?”

Mal slow-blinked at him, face a mask of calm. “Stay here with me.”

“But they need my help…” Nico said, tilting his head, his confusion evident.

“I need you here…with me. Please?” he added, like it was a foreign word to him.

Nico looked at Levi then Shiloh who winced, then shrugged, hoping it somehow translated what Shiloh wanted to say which was ‘I don’t know why he’s like this either but if you say no, he’s going to throw a temper tantrum of epic proportions and pop off like a deranged cartoon rabbit.’

“Um, I-” Nico started, flailing, his hand waving then falling to his side to look at Levi again.

“No, you should stay here,” Levi agreed. “You can…protect Shiloh?”

Shiloh nodded. “Yeah, you can protect me.”

“Yeah, okay. Sure,” Nico said, like his head was still spinning.

Shiloh felt a little bad, but not bad enough to back down. Keeping Mal calm until this was all over was for the best.

Mal gave a curt nod, then hooked his arm through Nico’s, dragging him towards the bedroom. “Okay, good. It’s settled. Let’s go to your room and finish watching Spirited Away.”

Shiloh heard Nico say, “I’m supposed to have classes this afternoon.”

But the door shut before they could hear Mal’s answer.

“What the fuck was that?” Levi asked.

Shiloh sighed. “That…was Malachi.”

###

Shiloh scanned the streets as they walked along the sidewalk. Levi’s hand grasped his, the other holding the groceries they’d just bought from the bodega on the corner. With so much ominous stuff on the horizon, it felt like the sky should have been dark, with low hanging black clouds and the threat of storms to come.

But no, the sky was as blue as Shiloh had ever seen it, fluffy white clouds dotted here and there. Everything was heightened. The buildings’ red brick seemed brighter, the scents wafting from the pizza place hung heavier in the air, making Shiloh’s stomach growl. It seemed weird to just have people out…living their lives when there was a plot to kill his brother just out there in the world.

Shiloh watched the couples as they passed, kids as they played, people sitting on their stoops. Were any of them plotting nefariously? Probably. This neighborhood had a high crime rate for a reason. But most of the crimes came from necessity, not malice. People robbed, stole cars, sold drugs, sold their bodies, so they could eat, so they could feed their kids. Before Micah made enough money to move them, they’d lived in a neighborhood just like this.

“What’s wrong, dimples?” Levi asked, yanking him from his thoughts.

Shiloh didn’t want to lie to him. But he had no idea how to explain the stupid thoughts whirling around in his head. “It’s just…weird.”

Levi frowned, tugging Shiloh into him as a kid raced by on a bicycle. “What’s weird?”

“I don’t know. All of it? How do you do this? How do you just—” he dropped his voice to a low murmur, barely heard above the bus engines, the cars, the people laughing obnoxiously in their plastic chairs outside the burger place. “plot someone’s murder then go buy…frozen pizza and ramen?”

Levi’s lips twitched in a smile, then let go of Shiloh’s hand. His heart sank at the loss, but then Levi threw his arm around his shoulder and sighed. “Well, one: because this is my life. We do this all the time. People need help, and we help them.”

“Even the Mulvaney’s?”

“Especially the Mulvaney’s. You can’t be as close to them as we are without getting sucked in by their gravitational force. Knowing their secret, means coming when they call.”

“So you’re like…beholden to them or something?”

“It’s not so much that we’re beholden, so much as it is that we’re…a collective.”

“Collective?”

“Yeah, we’re all out here doing the same work, they just do it with more resources and a bigger budget. They help us, we help them. Adam always jokes that mutually assured distruction is what makes this all work, but I think it’s because we all feel like one big fucked up family.”

Shiloh nodded. “Did the Mulvaney’s feel the same way about Leve? “What’s two?”

Levi frowned. “Huh?”

“You said there were two things,” Shiloh recalled.

“Oh, right. And two: Your brother is watching us. We know that. We have to keep living our lives like nothing is wrong so he doesn’t catch on to the plan. This is normal. Grabbing groceries is normal. Walking hand in hand down the street is normal. This is what couples do. Besides,” he added with a laugh. “With four of us eating instead of two, we’re running out of food quickly.”

Shiloh noted they were almost home…hah, home. This tiny apartment felt more like home than his real home ever had. And he wasn’t even pulling his weight or helping in any way. Maybe he could clean or something. He was a terrible cook, but he could learn.

Guilt settled over him, face feverish as he rushed to say, “I can pay you back as soon as-”

Levi’s hand cupped over Shiloh’s mouth, effectively cutting him off, before dropping a kiss on his head. “Baby, that wasn’t a complaint, just a fact. Everything’s up in the air right now. I haven’t been working at the convenience store since the robbery, Nico only picks up shifts from Jericho when he runs out of money faster than Monica’s sugar-daddies can replace it. You and Mal can’t exactly go apply for jobs at Burger King right now. But when this is all over and life is back to normal, we can sit down and make a plan.”

As soon as he dropped his hand, Shiloh said, “I don’t want you thinking I’m some burden you have to take care of.”

“Nobody thinks that. This is all just temp-”

“Levi!”

Levi’s blood drained from his face at the strangled cry, his sudden dread so palpable, Shiloh’s stomach plummeted into his shoes. A woman, previously hidden by the solid concrete on either side of the stairs, stood planting herself directly in front of them. Levi pushed Shiloh behind him, blocking half his body with his own bigger one. Shiloh could still peek from around his arm.

Levi’s mother.

She had greasy brown hair that hung in clumps past her shoulders, her scalp visible. Her skin was a sallow yellow, and seemed almost like it hung on her as oversized as the bright pink t-shirt that hung off her shoulder and trailed almost to her knees. Her blue eyes looked even bluer surrounded by the yellow of her sclera. Her lips were horribly chapped. The sweatpants she wore were so long they pooled around her ankles, almost hiding that she was barefoot.

Levi was so rigid behind him, Shiloh could feel him tremble when he placed a hand on his arm.

She smiled, revealing surprisingly straight, if clearly dirty, teeth. Her tone was saccharine sweet when she cooed, “Hey, baby.”

Levi answered with a single word. “No.”

He took Shiloh’s hand and tried to step around her, but she once more stepped between them and the door, her expression pleading. “I’m your mother. I just need a little help. Please, baby?”

Shiloh’s gaze darted to passersby who stared at the scene unfolding with minor curiosity, sometimes even temporarily slowing like they might want to see what happened next, before someone inevitably pulled them on.

Levi snorted. “You do need help,” he agreed. “That’s what they were giving you at the hospital. The place you ran away from, remember? You should go back.”

She shook her head frantically, eyes filling with tears. “I can’t. You don’t understand. They tried to kill me. They aren’t who you think they are. They’re evi-”

Levi cut her off. “Nobody tried to kill you, Naomi. They were trying to help you. Everyone's just trying to help you.”

Shiloh’s mouth fell open as the mask of pain fell away and her face contorted with pure unadulterated rage, her small hands fisting in Levi’s t-shirt. “Oh, I get it. You’re in on it with them. You’re probably the one who put me there in the first place. You’ve always hated me. Blamed me. I gave you everything and you just used me up. Ungrateful little shit.”

Shiloh’s heart jack-hammered in his chest, Levi was so still, staring at the woman with a hatred and sadness, that Shiloh related to more than he cared to admit.

Voice tight, Levi stared down the much smaller woman, shaking her clawing hands off his shirt. “Yeah, that’s me. Nice talking to you, Naomi. Good luck.”

This time Levi did drag Shiloh past her. But just as they passed, she snagged Shiloh’s wrist, her grip shockingly strong for someone so frail.

“Wait,” she said, giving him what she probably thought was a friendly smile, but was actually the stuff of nightmares. Shiloh remembered his mother’s own wild eyes, the way he could always see the unpredictability shining in them. He tried to shake her off, but she squeezed harder, until he felt like his bones were rubbing together. “Can you help me? Are you his boyfriend? I’m his mother. Don’t let him treat me like this. Imagine how he’ll treat you when you’re down and out. I just need a little help. Five dollars? Ten? Anything will do. Please?”

Levi pried her fingers off Shiloh’s wrist, pushing her away gently.  “Don’t touch him. And don’t hang around here looking for me. I’m done, Naomi. Done. I won’t help you anymore. If you want to get better go back to the hospital.”

She made a show of stumbling dramatically, landing hard on the sidewalk. “Did you see that?” she shouted to nobody in particular. “He assaulted me. My own son. Ungrateful. I can’t believe you’d do this to me.”

People continued to pass, eyeing the situation warily but nobody paid her much mind. While it was a fairly family friendly block, their city had an unhoused problem. There was no shortage of people just like her, sleeping wherever they could find a space at night and wandering the sidewalks looking for money or cans to recycle during the day.

Shiloh held his wrist, not only because it throbbed but because it helped steady him. Levi left her where she was, tugging Shiloh up the steps to the building. “Get out of here. Before I call the cops and tell them where you are.”

That got her attention. She got to her feet with effort then wandered away without another look.

They walked up the stairs in silence. Levi pulled him inside then closed the door, locking and bolting it. Nico and Mal were snuggled on the couch.

Nico gave him a curious look. “What’s up?”

“Naomi,” was all Levi said.

“Shit, for real?” Nico asked, not sounding like it was a real question.

“Yeah, so you know the drill. Make sure the doors are locked, just in case she manages to get past the front doors.”

Nico nodded, then snuggled deeper into Mal who was playing big spoon while they watched some cartoon on the couch and ate popcorn.

“I thought you had afternoon classes?” Levi asked, frowning.

Nico gave him a guilty look then gave a fake cough into his fist. “I’m sick.”

Levi rolled his eyes, then threw the pizza’s in the freezer before dragging Shiloh into the bedroom, tugging off both their shirts and capturing his mouth in a dirty kiss that stole his breath and made his dick take notice.

“What are we doing?” he asked when Levi broke the kiss to reach for the zipper of Shiloh’s borrowed jeans.

“I’m making out with my boyfriend,” Levi said, pulling Shiloh’s throbbing wrist to his lips and kissing it. “Is that okay?”

“It’s all okay. Whatever you want is always okay.”

Shiloh let Levi strip them both naked, then push him back on the bed crawling over him.

“You’re so fucking hot,” Levi said against his lips. “I can’t fucking get enough of you. I just want to crawl inside you and live there. You’re so pretty. You’re…fucking everything to me.”

Shiloh gasped, tears springing to his eyes. “You can’t say stuff like that,” he said, voice thick with emotion.

Levi was hard against his hip and he rocked against him as he licked his way into his mouth, his kiss almost frantic. Shiloh clung to his shoulders, letting him take what he wanted. This wasn’t about sex, not really. Even Shiloh could see that. Maybe it was about distraction or comfort. It didn’t matter. He’d give him anything.

Levi mouthed at his jaw, his ear, his collarbones, before moving back up to breathe in his ear. “I need to be inside you. Can I?”

“Yeah,” Shiloh breathed. “I-I mean, yes.”

Levi grabbed the lube. Shiloh noted with a blush that it was a new bottle. When had he gotten that? Before he could wonder for too long, Levi was kissing him once more, half lying on him. Shiloh bent the leg not beneath Levi, then dropped it out, giving him access. Levi sucked his bottom lip, nibbling gently as one thick finger probed at his entrance.

Shiloh couldn’t stop the pained whimper that escaped. Levi peppered his face with kisses, like an apology for the way he was working him open, like he knew he was being too much, that he was being too rough. But Shiloh liked it. He liked knowing that when he needed comfort, Shiloh’s body was where he found it.

He forced himself to relax as Levi stretched him on two fingers, then three, before slicking up his cock and sliding home in one deep stroke. Both of them moaned, Shiloh’s legs wrapping around his waist as Levi started to move. Unlike their last few times, there was no hesitation, no asking if Shiloh was ready, he just fucked him, his pace quickening with each roll of his hips until Shiloh had no choice but to sink his teeth into Levi’s shoulder or humiliate himself by being loud enough for Nico and his brother to hear.

It was bad enough the mattress thudded against the wall, the springs squeaking with each hard thrust. When Shiloh bit down Levi snarled, sitting back and gripping his hips, dragging him down and catching Shiloh’s knees over his elbows, practically bending him in half just to connect their lips once more.

Shiloh almost screamed at the heat that sliced through him as this new angle had Levi pummeling his prostate almost dead on. He wanted to be quiet but there was just no way. Luckily, Levi seemed content to swallow each of his desperate cries as he fucked him into the mattress.

Shiloh wanted to warn him he was going to come but there was just no time, it hit him too quickly, shouting into Levi’s mouth as he came between them untouched. Levi pulled back just enough to look between them, giving another throaty groan before burying his face in Shiloh’s neck and increasing his pace.

Shiloh dug his nails into his shoulders, biting down on his bottom lip until he tasted blood. What had been the most intense pleasure of his life two minutes ago was now torture as Levi fucked him, still driving into that bundle of nerves, now oversensitive to the point of pain.

Still, he endured. He could tell Levi was close by the way his movements grew sloppy, his breaths panting against his neck. It only took two more thrusts before he was practically growling against his throat, grinding his hips against him like he needed to be as deep as possible. Shiloh could feel him pulsing as he came, his whole body shivering with pleasure.

Levi released his legs and Shiloh let them fall to the mattress, petting his hand over Levi’s sweaty hair. They both could probably use a shower, but Shiloh didn’t say anything. Especially not when he felt the wetness on his neck and heard a tiny sniffle. Shiloh just held him, feeling him soften within him before slipping free.

He winced as he felt Levi’s cum leaking from him.

He wasn’t sure how long they laid like that, but he stayed silent until Levi kissed his neck, the underside of his jaw and then just below his ear.

“You okay?” Shiloh asked.

Levi gripped him tight enough to force a groan out of him, then flipped them so Shiloh was starfished on top of him. He wiggled down so he could put his ear directly over Levi’s heartbeat. It was thudding hard against his ribs. Shiloh’s was too.

“I’m fine,” Levi finally said, voice raw.

“Are you sure?” Shiloh asked hesitantly.

There was a pause before Levi said, “No. I’m not. But I am just too tired to talk about her…again. I just want to touch you. Hold you like this til I have to leave. Okay?”

“Sure, baby,” Shiloh said.

His eyes fell closed as Levi’s hands began to move, ghosting his fingers over Shiloh’s back in a barely-there touch that made him shiver, digging his nails in on the way back up, repeating the pattern on his arms, before scratching at his scalp with blunt nails, only to then start the process all over again.

Maybe Shiloh was touch-starved, maybe Levi’s hands were just magic, but whatever it was, he was drawing little whines and whimpers from him, broken moans and low cries. It was heaven. Shiloh was in heaven. “I love you, too.”

Levi’s hands froze. “What?” For a second Shiloh panicked. Had Levi forgotten he’d said it first? But then his hands started to move once more. “Say it again.”

“I love you,” Shiloh said, firmer.

“Again,” Levi said, breathless.

Shiloh picked his head up and forced himself to meet Levi’s half-lidded gaze. “I love you.”

Levi gave him the most beautiful smile Shiloh had ever seen. And Levi had so many. “I love you, too.”

Shiloh reached up and dragged Levi’s face closer, kissing the two chocolate chip beauty marks below his eye, then his perfect pouty lips. “I’ll never get tired of hearing that.”

“I hope not, cause I’m never going to get tired of saying it.”

Shiloh grinned like an idiot, then dipped his head to hide his face against Levi’s chest. “Can we go shower and then eat? I’m suddenly starving.”

“Yeah, hopefully Nico and Mal didn’t break into the food while we were…busy.”

“I will literally cry,” Shiloh said, face falling.

“Don’t worry, dimples. I will never let you starve.”

“Good. Now carry me to the shower, your cum has dried all over my legs and it’s itchy.”

Levi snorted, but upended Shiloh, dropping him onto his back on the mattress, while he stood and shimmied into his boxers. Before Shiloh could ask for his underwear, Levi threw the sheet over him and rolled him up like a mummy. No amount of shouting saved him and soon he was being carted across the hall looking like a dead body.

Mal’s gaze flicked to the sheet. “He better be breathing in there.”

Shiloh’s response was muffled, but clear enough. “All good.”

Just before Levi closed the bathroom door, Shiloh heard Nico say, “They’re so fucking weird.”

Nico had no idea just how weird the Mizrahi brothers were. But Shiloh had a feeling he was about to find out.

Poor shiloh it's okay micah will be very dead soon. The conflicting like it socks what Naomi is dealing with but also you hurt levi so much is real. But why do I feel like this isn't the last of her. Spirited away definitely more fun than class

Aimi Yokaiko

It's wrapping up so nicely-! (Pun intended) I always love how the wrap up comes with a ramp up in these stories. It always makes the ending that much more pleasing! I am also most certainly loving these glimpses of Mal already imprinting on Nico. It feels like Adam with Noah but from the outside perspective

Kelsi Myers

I need Mal and Nico’s book! And Seven and Enzo! I need them all

April Jackson

Yup Nico’s definitely going to find out how weird Mal is

Nadine Wead

these two are gonna give me cavities, too sweet. i have to say, i'm a little worried about naomi. i know how addicts operate, and she's a loose end i do not like one bit. people like her will say anything for a fix, but living in the world of the Mulvaneys, and all the shady shit that goes on in this neighborhood, i would not be surprised one bit if some mysterious baddie was offing addicts in some third rate hospital. i guess time will tell. on a side not, i'm living for Nico & Mal, though i am a bit concerned with the skipping classes. i mean, i dropped out of college too, but of course i want more for my fictional children...

Harley Nixon

the two chocolate chip beauty marks below his eye 💕💕 so cute

Kim Adams

Well this didn’t help with the, I really need to go to sleep, it’s wel past sleeping time over here. Love it/them😍🖤💜🥰

I have concerns 😟 Naomi is just out there, lose ends are never good. Levi would never be able to do it, but someone will have to deal with her. She is to close to be jumping out of corners. I love Mal, but our Nico can't be skipping classes! Mal will have to find some balance so can keep Nico.

Onley James

I love how nervous everyone is that Nico skipped classes and I love that I knew you guys would be and did it anyway

Christina

In my mind, I see the murder cabin being complete with an unlimited supply of protein bars and lube.

Karli

*le sigh* love this book!

Haley

"pop off like a deranged cartoon rabbit" Haha, is it bad that I kinda want to see Mal throw a temper tantrum just know what that would be like? I am absolutely loving this book and I really can't wait to get my hands on the physical copy!

Kaye_tee_bee50

I was like no Nico no skipping classes. I can't wait for Micah to get his. I feel like Naomi needs to go on the Mothers the Mulvaneys need to off. I know she's an addict and probably schizophrenic but the things she did to him. Also i think Mal needs to go to Thomas Mulvaney's How To ACT Normal class

bad Nico for skipping classes! but also such a mood, I've done that before! 😂 I'm loving the dynamic between Levi Nico Mal and Shiloh! gives me life! I'm curious how the Naomi thing will play out though, whether she'll actually give up, or if there's gonna be a League of Evil Mothers with her and Beverley as members 😂

Ughhhh my favorite author pumping out chapter after chapter of greatness!! Levi carting off his mummy boyfriend and Mal checking in was hilarious 😂

Morgan S. Hazelwood

I love that their sex life isn't perfect. That Levi makes Shiloh oversensitive and doesn't magically know exactly when to switch angles/activities.

The phone conversation!? And Naomi!? The drama is alive and well in this chapter!

🤣🤣 being carted across the hall like a dead body. Someday I will have a partner and I will demand to be carted to the shower nestled in a tangle of sheets! I'm still giggling at the imagery 😂

I can't wait for Micah to get a taste of his own medicine... and then some. Bring on the Murder Cabin! I was loving the Mal and Nico dynamic - BUT if Mal is going to continue be a bad influence- I will be very sad. Also, I had totally forgotten about Naomi. Her resurfacing has me worried about Shilo. I'm afraid she'll go after him to get to Levi. Gawd I Love this story, can't wait for the next chapter. 😍

This was sooooo great. I’m scared for Nico if Jericho or Atticus find out he’s been skipping….
