I need your input friends!

It has crossed my mind on more than one occasion that not many of you actually open and dig into the massive photoshop files.

I spend quite a bit of time making sure that all the layers are neatly organized and named for each art pack, not to mention the upload and download time for these monstrosities! haha!  I was wondering if that time could be spent on creating something that more people would appreciate and benefit from.

Or maybe I am totally wrong and you are all digging into these files and dissecting them.  That's why I need you to let me know what you would like to see!

Would you folks be interested in instead of the full photoshop files, putting time into creating more comprehensive Step-By-Steps for each piece (or maybe some other reward.  I'm open to suggestions!)

Pretty please cast your vote and let me know!  And please comment if you have any ideas or want to tell me that I'm totally wrong and you love having photoshop files to dig into!

I personally use csp which liked to butcher photoshop files so I don't tend to open up the big files

Yeah, i feel like psds used to be something that more people would open up and look at but now that more and more people don't even use photoshop, having to import a psd to something like csp or procreate is too much trouble for most folks.

I don’t use Photoshop at all. I hop between Procreate, Affinity Photo/Designer and a handful of specialised tools. Process videos are great but also huge and depending on the software not always easy to make or feasible. Step by step is nice but sketch -> lineart -> artwork is totally enough for me to get a feel for the process.

uhh so here's a problem... I actually like photoshop thingies and all, I.. I am just extremely lazy and forget to download all the things i have in my gumroad virtual shelf >_> so i kinda sit, once a few months and just put up massive downloading session xD for those

BUUUUT! To be frank, i won't mind any of the above, I dont really have an opinion on this and am willing to go with a flow. I don;t think its very helpful tho xD

As another Artist, I do prefer the PSD flies for further analysis. However I find that most people would prefer simplistic things such as the Step by Steps. I would save the PSDs for another package in case you ever decided to create one specifically for in-depth learning. <3

I'm probably an outlier, but I subscribed when I saw your posts on IG that announced your articles for the business and marketing side. Those are my favorite.

I'm not an artist, so I'd rather have another print or sticker :) Also, I'm a bookstagrammer, so more book characters would be fabulous!! I'd love to feature your art in a post.

Personally I love to open the psd and see how you work, but I do understand that it’s a lot of work for you to put every layer in the right order and the right name, I know my own psd are a mess! Also I don’t know what would be the less time consuming for you, psd or step by step... but probably for most people simple step by step would be easier to understand.

maybe a few of the pieces sized for phone backgrounds.

I totally agree. It is really interesting to dig in to see some of the thought process. I guess what I could do is still include the psd files for those that are really interested but not spend so much time organizing them and put that time towards the step by steps.

Haha, I would love to do more prints and stuff, although more physical rewards are probably something that needs to wait for future milestones since this particular topic is more about the digital rewards. Oooh, but I do want to do more book characters. They are SO Fun!

You are soul after my own heart! TBH that is the type of content that I am most interested in as well whenever I research stuff or subscribe to a patreon. So I am super glad you like that sort of content!!

Hmmm... Thank you so much for your insight! As a fellow artist, I totally agree with you. Maybe what I'll do is still include them for those that are really interested but try and devote less time to making them perfectly organized and put that time towards something like step by steps.

Ahah! I totally get it. That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for letting me know. Maybe what I'll do is still include them for those that are really interested but try and devote less time to making them perfectly organized and put that time towards something like step by steps.

Oh thank you for your insights! Yeah more videos in general are something I want to start doing, maybe not for every piece still but youtube videos are a big goal of mine so hopefully those will be coming regardless..

I love to see the art work I open every psd but I don't mind that they are messy.. I also love the idea with the phone backgrounds, maybe you could make a key chain or something like you know limited editions..
