I have been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 early access and am a little bit Obsessed!
so I had to do a quick Portrait of my drow character!

I only realized a after playing her for a while, that she has some major resemblances to Mist.  I guess I like blue girls.  😂

news: I’ll be picking up the Nov stickers tomorrow and making the art pack 41 summary!  So keep your eyes peeled for that in the next couple days!

VIDEO NOTE: I just noticed that when you watch the video on PC the colors are CRAZY. WTF procreate video?  It should look alright when you watch it on iphone (not sure about other phones).

Rewards for this piece will be in Art Pack 41:

  • Full Res Art
  • PSD
  • Sketch
  • timelapse video

When will I receive rewards for this piece?  Download them NOW from this post or Download Art Pack 41, which will be released in early November 2020.

Omg she looks amazing ! How do you do to get this perfect final look ? I mean, when i draw, my lineart is messing it all...

I highly recommend looking at lighting reference as you are painting. It make such a huge difference for me when I am looking back and forth at reference and then at my painting as I work!

Thank you so much! For this piece I didn't use lineart at all and just painted on one layer. (you can see the process in the video attached to this post.) My sketch and initial painting looks soooo ugly but then it slowly tightens up and looks better as I go along. It is definitley a weird and different process then working with lineart but it is pretty freeing.

For this one I mostly used a default procreate brush actually! I was trying out the painting>Wet Brush in hopes that it would be kind of like the watercolor brush in Clip Studio paint and it is as close as I have been able to get in procreate. Its really nice for blending!
