🌲Challenge//Lost in the Magic Forest (Patreon)

Story Prompt

Villagers dare not venture too far into the mörkwood. The deeper one ventures, the thicker the mists are with magic and the closer the darkness presses into the senses. Mortals lost in these woods are not searched for. They are assumed lost, stolen by the faerie folk, never to return.

You know all of this, and yet somehow, you are here... lost.

You can already feel the unnatural air intoxicating and bewitching your sense, muddling your memories. You can’t even remember how you got here.

The leather of your bow handle presses into your palm as you tighten your nervous grip, trying to slow your panicked breath.

A twig snaps!

Wide eyed, you whip your gaze towards the sound. What you see is beautiful and terrible. You can feel a thick wave of faerie magic blanketing you, and you can no longer seem to hold onto a solid thought.

The last thing you remember is the soft sound of your bow hitting the mossy forest floor.

Introducing our first Patreon Challenge!
