"Arlus didn't look forward to becoming an adventurer like his parents, the famous duo that quelled the demon rebellion of Stoneknife Pass. Arlus just wanted to bake things and make people happy. So when he inherited a coastal tower from his parents, he decided to convert it to a tavern. 

"Called the "Talltower Tavern" by the locals, Arlus' tavern is a favorite stop-over for travelling adventurers. While managing a tavern that's four stories tall can be difficult, Arlus does so with pride, using his father's boots of levitation to reach every customer. Arlus is a sucker for a great adventuring story, and will often offer provide free drinks for those with incredible stories of daring-do (although most offer to pay, anyway)."
