Hello everyone,

Just wanted to give everyone an update on what I'm working on and what you can expect to see from here in the next few weeks:

January's Map:

I fell behind a bit on this month's mega-map (The Cogs), both because of the holidays and how detailed this one wound up being. I'm not joking when I say that the full Cogs map includes nearly 10,000 individual elements. It literally maxed out my graphics card at one point. As of now, I've finished the base map as well as 3 out of the 4 variants. With only one variant left, expect to see the first of these maps dropping soon. My goal is Saturday.

December's Adventure:

The adventure set in Northmarket from last month is 90% complete in terms of writing. Once that's finished, it'll take a day for formatting and publishing. My goal is to have that completed in a week. I'm still trying to figure out distribution, considering that it directly uses Eberron settings and characters. I'll get that figured out.

February's Map:

I'm gonna post a poll for February's map here very soon. I've done buildings and urban environments for the last 4 months, and I honestly need a break. As such, next month I'm going to limit the poll to natural environments only. I have some fun ideas already, but please post any ideas for natural environments you'd like to see down in the comments.

New Patreon Tier(s):

As some of you may have noticed, I set a new goal for my Patreon after y'all helped me destroy my last one. This goal unlocks a new tier for people interested in joining me on Roll20 to playtest upcoming material, as well as general gaming. The logistics of that that's gonna work is still being worked out, as well as the price point. But, based on the rate of growth for this Patreon, we're gonna hit that before the end of the month.

Some of you have also reached out saying that you want to support me more than the $1/$2 that I currently ask, and inquired about a "higher tier" level for that. I've been racking my brain a bit on that one, just because I still want to give something extra for folks who want to pay more for the stuff I make. I figure those folks deserve something extra. But I don't want to "remove" features from the Fantastic Ferret tier, and I'm pretty thoroughly at max capacity in terms of my current workload. So coming up with added perks is challenging. Here's some of the things I'm thinking about:

- Livestream some of my mapmaking sessions. This would act as both a sort of tutorial in the program I use and a preview of upcoming content.

- Physical perks. Right now the leading candidates are a welcome sticker for first signing up and then a monthly postcard.

- "Table Stories." I make a monthly post compiling all the cool stories people sent me throughout the month from their gaming sessions. RPGs are a storytelling medium and this could be a fun way to celebrate those stories. Folks at this new tier get to submit those stories.

I'm thinking of putting this new "extra support" tier at $5/month. What do you think of those perks and that price point?

Lastly, some previews:

Just to show everyone that I'm hard at work and excited to release my next batch of content, here's some preview shots from "The Cogs".

Y'all are amazing! Talk to ya again soon!
