Hello everyone,

I’m sure you all may have noticed that it’s been over a week since our last post here or on any of our social media feeds. Wanted to let you all know what that’s about. Over the last 2 to 3 weeks I’ve had a mental health problem that ate up most of my time and energy. So I was unable to get much work done.

Which is a real shame because during that time Ferret Foundry hit a couple of big milestones. The first is that October represents our first anniversary on Patreon. The second is that we surpassed 400 unique maps, counting variants, and we’re approaching 500 very fast. I really wish we that I was in a good enough place to celebrate those with y’all.

“But wait,” I hear the hypothetical you asking, “there’s two people on the team. What happened there?” Well, poor timing, that’s what. While I was having my mental health issue, Tristan found himself in a physical health crisis, getting sick and needing a week to recover.

The good news: We’re both doing better and ready to get back to work. We have a lot of catching up to do, but we’ll make it.

Lastly, a promise: To all of our paid subscribers, you *will* get your money’s worth this month. We will make sure to post at least 4 posts this month, with variants, VTT scenes and all the bells and whistles. That’ll average to one per week (they just may all come toward the end of the month). We anticipate more than that, for sure, but we can guarantee at least 4.

Thank you all for your support and understanding.

Take care,

Peter

No worries, you can't do anything without your health - glad you are both feeling better, but don't feel too pressured to get back to the grindstone.

Taking care of you health should be your primary focus. I'm glad to hear that you are both feeling better 🤗 I love 💕 the maps, and you have already supplied me with many hours around the table, so I won't hold it against you if you won't make all the promised maps.

No worries here. I appreciate the work you guys do and am happy to support it. I would much rather have you guys happy and healthy and am happy to wait for you both to take the time you need to get there.

It's all good I'm glad you're both feeling better! I'm not trying to pressure anyone, but I customer of mine recommended this site to me to help with my own mental health crisis. https://getcerebral.com/ Don't know what your situation is but if it helps cool if not no worries! Take care and don't worry about the milestones slow and steady!!

Health, whether physical or mental, comes first! Don't pressure yourself to hit those deadlines if they're going to cause you further harm.

I'm glad to hear that both of y'all are doing better! That's fantastic. Please don't push yourself for the sake of the patreon, though. You matter more than the service you provide. Good luck to both of you!
